Doing a paleo/carb deprived diet right now, except I'm using dairy milk with my protein shakes. Boy do I miss watermelon, and grapefruit, and shitting like a normal person
F. I havent finished reading through the Paleo Solution yet, so I haven't seen all the fruit restrictions, but I didn't realize that watermelon was prohibited.
Also, three quotes in one post makes me the winner, even if my lifting sucks.
I don't think I'm doing a true-to-form paleo diet. I vaguely heard about it once and took away an "only meat and veggies" mindset. I wiki'd the diet today and it apparently allows fruits as well, but I'm a very impatient man so I'm trying to lose weight ASAP by cutting out any carbs/sugars and only ingesting fats/proteins. Also fasting in the morning. Also doing HIIT once in a blue moon when I've forgotten how much I hate it. I'm dropping weight pretty steady and my strength is not dropping too crazily (except my deadlift, which is making me sad-face).
E: Also, how is 5/3/1BBB treating you? I tried it for a few months but I found that it made me really good at 5x10 reps and really bad at 1rm's which is NOT good training as a powerlifter
