Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
On the plus side, the sub-optimal Indar location is causing VS to find fights on Esamir and Amerish.
I'm okay with this. I saw we were holding both Esamir and Amerish for a while this weekend. Leave Indar to NC's better location and TR's larger numbers.
A Mossy will come in on a run for the Indar warpgate, flip, and burn like hell back into the mountains to the west.
... where a group of 4 or 5 Heavy Infantry (I've seen TR doing it, but I guess NC could as well) will set up with an Engineer (and maybe a Medic?) and just start lobbing AA rockets at you.
On Saturday some KOF dudes were sitting on the plateau to the north of the warpgate (just south of the biolab) doing the exact same thing, except they didn't even need a Reaver as bait. Anyone flying over to get to the biolab, insta dead. Anyone taking a tank or sundy to the biolab, insta dead. Tried to engage with air but the draw distance made it impossible to see them before three rockets hit you at the same time. I'm beginning to understand why the southeast warpgate blows so hard. Instant high ground for your enemies in all directions.
