So a few weeks ago my company photographer followed me around the hospital and snapped some photos for a press release about volunteerism. I got the pictures back and the following email below from the photographer:

...I must say, I was at first most surprised to meet with Justin and to hear he was a magician at the Children’s Hospital. Then I could not believe the happiness he created when he was doing tricks and talking with the kids…it was truly magical to say the least. The photos enclosed are a small representation of the laughter and the care he makes with kids...

Then I got the following pictures from the event and my time at the hospital (both used for public announcements and newspaper articles)

I officially made the news (I'm the guy with the thick rimmed glasses)

Just finished the game and absolutely loved it.

Based on the battles (especially towards the end), I would love to see a horde/survival mode.

4 players picking 2 different vigors and 2 different guns

Waves upon waves of enemies coming your way and you need to coordinate with your teammates which vigor combos you will use

Every few levels you can change up your vigors, clothing, and weapons to deal with tougher enemies (Handymen, patriots, etc.)

Shit, you could even have a mode where one player takes on the role of Elizabeth and hands you salts, health, and ammo throughout the level and pick up dying players and

So for whatever reason, I tend to downplay my accomplishments, but I am proud of what I do.

For example, I just found out that I'm in the running for the Jefferson Award (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefferson_Awards_for_Public_Service) in D.C. for my work performing magic for kids in the hospital. Oprah and Jimmy Carter have won this award. If I win, it'll be something awesome to put on my MBA application, seeing as I want to go back to school to start my own not-for-profit helping kids in the hospital.

In addition, I'm going to be on WGN news at 5 talking about the organization I work with.

Oh, and I'm pretty kick ass at my family business of running apartments that'll I'll eventually take over. And I've gotten good enough at cooking that I cooked Thanksgiving dinner this past year all by myself and everyone said it was the best Thanksgiving dinner we've ever had.

So go ahead SE++, toot your own horn. No need to be humble. Brag about whatever you want.
