I've played this JRPG a few times.
God is vulnerable to chainsaws.
I used the Oblivion weapons.
He wasn't that tough, though it was annoying that he was resistant to holy magic.
I actually wonder how many games I've killed gods in. A Tales game or two, Final Fantasies that doesn't happen but almost does (Kefka is virtually a god by the end), etc.
