Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Oh, there was a number of things that killed werewolves. Ratchet bomb contributed, but so did "Most of my guys suck unless transformed while normal creatures are pretty much awesome all the time"
Step 1 play Vorel.

Step 4: Activate Vorel, then burst of strength vorel, then activate vorel again.
At least they're doing something. They're probably just testing the waters for reprints and re-releases like this.
Correct.
If this is successful, we'll likely see a steady stream of this come out every year or so. Chronicles and 4th edition are still painful memories at Wizards, and they want to be very careful with these reprints.
Not only are they testing the waters, but they're going to make an absolute killing in doing so. Especially since they've moved two of the most expensive modern cards up to mythic for no apparent fucking reason other than to make them mythic so people will buy more packs. I would go into the big argument that wizards promised that "utility" and "format staple" cards would never be mythic but they tossed that out the window a long time ago. I also imagine we'll see Vendilion Clique up at mythic.
Goyf and Bob are mythic solely because of their status as tournament staples, and to me it feels disingenuous to the stated desires of the set.
