Bioware is really just trying to get us ready to participate in galactic politics. I thought they were getting us ready to participate in awkward virgin sex scenes. Fixed that for ya. I dunno why, but Liara never really struck me as a virgin. ...really? She was socially awkward and I'm pretty sure she even said something approximating "yes I am indeed a virgin" at some point. It was more just the post-coital conversation just didn't sound quite right. Shephard jumping out of bed and getting fully dressed for the pillow talk kind of killed it for me too. Spoiler: show spoiler hide spoiler For bonus points, they could have had a little dialog in the actual sex scene where Shephard was going "no... no don't do that. Try this.
