Aladdin:

"The thief cheerfully accepts your kind words and gifts. When you realize that the thief has no intention of acknowledging your gifts, you skillfully contrive to steal them back, and hasten away from the thief." [D1/S1/Stealth and Stealing]

(used stealth and stealing skill)

Since you already have stealth and stealing, you are now at Master Stealth and Stealing. You won't roll a modifier when choosing a reaction:

Master Skills
If you have skills at the Master level, you can control your
own fate to a greater degree. Do not immediately roll
the Destiny Die to determine your Result Paragraph.
Instead, the Reader checks all three possible paragraphs
first, to see whether one or more of your Master skills
are listed.

❖ If they are not listed, resolve the encounter in the
normal way. (Roll the die, check for appropriate
skills, etc.)

❖ If one of your Master skills is listed in any of the
three possible paragraphs, you may choose to go
directly to that paragraph (starting with the first
part, then reading the section for the Master skill)
without rolling the die. (You may still roll instead, if
you prefer.)

Note: The Reader does not inform you if one of those
skills is mandatory! Since most mandatory paragraphs
are harmful to you, knowing if a selection is mandatory
would encourage you to avoid it.

Example: Ali Baba has encountered a Mystic Fire, so the
Reader has turned to paragraph number 728. Ali Baba has the
Magic skill at the Master level.

The Reader looks over paragraphs 727, 728, and 729, and
notices that paragraph 728 lists Magic as a skill. He asks Ali
Baba if he would like to use his Magic skill, or if he would
prefer to roll the Destiny Die. The reader does not tell a player
what the paragraph numbers are unless there is more than one
option for the player to choose.

(edit: Sorry, I know the OP needs to be updated for scores and skills. Will update that.)

It seems strange to me that any of the mind control statuses would only have someone control half your turn. But the only explicit instruction is to pick the reaction matrix option, so I guess we should go with that.
There is another status effect that explicitly controls movement.

Got it. Sorry guys, didn't have a chance to sit down and update yesterday. I need to set up my board again to confirm where everyone is, update scores, and get the turns going again today.

You automatically get your quest token, so that's taken care of. So!

Zumurrud:

You make your way south, towards the valley city of Cordoba. You inquire about for the location of a restaurant famed for its fish even in Baghdad. Following a few merchants carrying olive oil and saffron to the restaurant, you meet a disguised sage.

Your reactions to this mysterious elder are on Matrix A.

Ah, have faith. A roll of a 10 gets you a different result:

Zumurrud:

"The Sage responds, 'I desperately need your aid. I have little now to reward you, but if you can be patient, I promise you a valuable payment later.'
With your assistance and in the fullness of time, the Sage's fortunes turn, and he makes good his promise of repayment. You learn much from your acquaintance with him. [D1/W+1 (Max: Rich)/Choice of Bargaining and Evaluation or Scholarship]"

And now for that famed fish with olive oil ...

Oooh, question...

Since I gained another level in Stealth & Stealing... does that mean I'm not insane any more?

Oh! Yes. Sorry, forgot to state that in your post. I had already deleted your "Insane" status off my mini excel sheet. The sheet which is not in sync with the OP list of scores and statuses because I haven't updated that. Urgh.

Anyway, congratulations! You are no longer a danger to yourself or others!

I wish I had a screencap of that Michael Jackson episode of the Simpsons where they hand Homer the certificate of sanity.

Travelling along the rocky coast of Africa, south of the Sea of Safety, you meet a Noble Efreet on a lonely beach.

Reaction matrix is M.

(You received city card: Gaya)

I will aid the Noble Efreet - but invisible castle seems down at the moment.

Were the forums unreachable for anyone else? I can't reach them in firefox - so on a whim I tried IE8 and it worked.

edit: everything is working fine now.. weird.

Strange. If IC is down, you can always just roll a d6 and tell me the number. For the encounter charts, higher/lower numbers are just picking a random adjective/thing. For the encounters themselves, the +/- modifier aren't necessarily better/worse as different variants of the encounter will allow different skills to be used and have different rewards. Not really the kind of thing at which anyone could cheat a dice roll to get ahead.

Ali Baba:

"You espy a bottle on the ground. As you approach, a voice booms out: 'Free me from this bottle and I'll grant your every desire, for I am a prince among my people and my power is infinite.'

You retort, 'If your power were truly infinite, you would not need my help!" And thus saying, you continue on your journey. [D1/S1]"

Not a bad display of logic for a talking ape.

Ma'aruf:

Your inner longings for adventure lead you to this forest. Winding your way to center of the forest, you come across a marvelous Crystal Palace.

The book's blurb: "This legendary palace was built entirely of cut glass. Within it, the mad king kept his own children as prisoners, for he lived in fear of others trying to usurp his power."

Inside this palace is an Unknown Beast. Reaction matrix is J.

I rolled a 4 + 6 for my location = 10. So I think I completed my quest right? If so, this ape man just got married and real rich!

We will pray to Mohammed for guidance. -1

As a reminder, all of my skills are reduced by one by my intense grief for the Princess's plight.

The best kneels at the mention of Allah.

When your praters are finished, it nuzzles your hand. You marvel that even the beasts of the wild are aware of the power of the One God, and you are confirmed in your faith. [D1/S1/Piety]

You now have Master Piety.

Oh jeez, thanks for caching that. Wow, she married you with beast form. That's ... that's true love.

Spoiler:

Okay Monkey Baba, the rewards for Seek Love:

[W+3 (Max: Princely)/Married/Vizier/Place your Origin marker in the nearest city]

You're now Married:

"You have achieved a blissful state of matrimony. You now have a husband/wife.

- Effect -

You gain 1 Story point when you get this status.

The next city you enter (or city you are now in) is where you make your home. Leave your Orign marker there. After you have an encounter in another city, you must return to your home before you may end your turn in any other cities.

Each time you return home, you gain 1 Story point and you may roll 2 dice:

2: Your marriage produces a child as ugly as an elderly camel; you become Grief Stricken.

3-7: No effect.

8-10: A(nother) child! Gain one destiny point.

11-12: A(nother) child whose visage resembles that of the full moon! Gain 2 Destiny points and become Respected."

Okay, looks like the nearest city to this encounter is Zaila, so that would be the Origin city.

Everyone be sure to make whip cracking noises every time he has to return to his Origin city. I do think it's strange that your wife won't let you spend the night in any cities (dens of hussies and loose women!) without stopped by the Origin city, but there you go. That's marriage for you.
