Since Justice League ended, there's not been a solid western action cartoon, but Japan consistently brings the rock in this genre. I'm not watching any shows in the current season, though, besides One Piece. I look forward to Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn next year, though, and I'm hoping to find a show that's Basquash without, well, the overabundance of fan service that killed the show for me. Basically, I see TTGL as one of the best anime shows ever made and I want more along that style, but it seems there's little for me there.

Speaking of Touhou, that Bad Apple PV apparently has legs on Nico: it's apparently cracked the all-time Top 5. Nah. At least not all-time all categories. It's at 33 though for that which is pretty impressive but not close to the likes of ryo's Miku songs or the older Nico medleys. It could get to those heights at some point though if it keeps up. You got me curious and I checked out this week's Nico Nico Ranking. (*sigh* I have no idea what's becoming of me...) The ranking was for the period Oct. 26 to Nov. 2. Bad Apple was uploaded on the 27th and garnered 2,748,996 points at the top of the rankings, 2 million over the 2nd rank for the week, and leads the all-time list for most points earned in a ranking period. It's kind of remarkable that it's already got almost a million views already. On a side note, the K-On! × Persona 4 animation thing ranked 27th. Another thing from the ranking... someone apparently made a parody of the "My Girlfriend is the President" trailer using world leaders, titled "My Boyfriend is the President". The Weekly Nico Nico Ranking is rather perplexing in general, really. *facepalm* Makes me tired to think about it...

It's quite interesting, though I'd probably appreciate it better if I knew more about the Touhou series. And yeah, most of my Nico Nico intake is from links that other people scour up and the Weekly Vocaloid Rankings. Can't really stand to sit/listen through most of the rest.

Trying to find a snippet of an episode or fight to show a series to someone is damn near impossible because of all the AMVs. Even putting -amv doesn't do the trick. I did manage to find the fight with Wei from Darker than Black, it was one of the better ones.
