So, prelim numbers for MW2. 4.7 million in one day across multiple regions. With the British # at 1.2 mil, that gives it 3.5 mil day one in the US. I believe that beats Halo 3's record. Would be interesting to scale that number against the number of available 360s. Halo 3 sold to about 14 million 360s, MW2 is coming out to an user base of 32 million.

I have to wonder why Perfect Dark has an M rating. I can't think of anything that was in it that would deserve it. When you shoot people, not only do they get bloody, their blood splatters all over the wall behind them. Seems to qualify for M to me.

Also have to take into account the rumors of "1 million" modded xboxes being banned. I have a feeling the true number isn't quite that high. 183,000 hits in google if you search for "my xbox 360 was banned" and filter results for the past week, on forums.

The best I've read so far is over at Playstation3News, or some stupid fanboi site like that. There is a whole debate thread on there where these people have whipped themselves in to a frenzy, and convinced themselves it's their LEGAL AND GOD GIVEN RIGHT to modifier their XBox and pirate games.

You could cut it in half with a chainsaw and there isn't a court in the country that would say you don't have that right. What is not legal is distributing copyrighted code (which most mod chips have in them), and pirate games.

I have only got two trades left on Goozex, and I think I prefer trading in now that I can do the CEX price match +£1 thing at Gamestation, so I can't see myself buying more. Plus I am buying a PS3 shortly, and so credit at Gamestation is more useful than more games.
