So, is it just me, or do the recent books (Compass of Celestial Directions: Malfeas and the Infernals book) strongly imply that the Ebon Dragon's future wife...
Spoiler:
is the Scarlet Empress?
It's been very heavily implied since 1E. They're just getting slightly more blatant about it as time goes on.

Yeah. It was first implied in a chapter-opening vignette in 1e Dragon-Blooded. I am pretty sure that Aspectbook: Earth said it outright in one of Mnemon's chapters.

Nope, it's never been said outright. Just implied really heavily. Aspect Book: Earth does have the vignette that reveals that Lillun the phylactery-womb was in fact the Scarlet Empress's daughter, though.
Would anyone be interested in an intro one shot to Exalted? I'm pondering running one if there's enough interest. It would probably be Tomb of Five Corners with the possibility of a real chronicle if people want/I have enough time.
Why is it that everytime I join an Exalted group it falls apart before I even do anything?
Because as a game gets better, the number of successful groups for it goes down. This is why no one has ever actually completed a session of Amber Diceless, while everyone's given FATAL the old college try.

The implication here is that Amber Diceless is a good game, and that is definitely not true.

Hey Thanatos, how would you...?
You're asleep. Quick jerk of the bantron; never feel a thing.
You've thought about this.
Yes, I have.
Amber Diceless is predicated on GM fiat (to the point that a player can take "good stuff" or "bad stuff" which are meant to be like "luck", and should influence the GM accordingly), and GM fiat is generally suggested to be "fuck your players up, because they're not the main characters. Your NPCs, who were in the books, are the main characters."
