I'm using v1.1b9 as well, and it keeps on telling me to patch the game as I apparently am still running the retail version.

Most of your mods go into your "X:\Fallout 3\Data" folder and it's sub directories. You must have figured that out. Redownload the patch and just sit there until it works. Or, as someone suggested, don't patch if you're that worried about bugs and get the fake patch mod.

Wow my combo fo FOOK and MMM are making this game damn hard

hit level 11 on Very Hard(with exp reducer) and shit takes so much effort to kill. Still worth it to blow up a pack of like 7 raiders with one car explosion.

Deathclaws earn thier name now too

I've run into an annoying glitch in the 360 version. I was playing The Pitt when I fell through the roof of a building while trying to get to the top of the blast furnace in the steelyard, causing instant death.

Now I'm doing Mothership Zeta and I fell through the floor of the engine room and I just fell into a room that led me out to engineering. I'm getting flashbacks to when I was playing TES: Morrowind and I ended up falling through the world and into a giant ocean underneath Vvardenfell.

I'm probably going to start a new game and see if the problems repeat themselves. Also, has anyone heard anything about Fallout: New Vegas lately? I'm hoping that Area 51 will be an area we can explore in the game. It's not too far from Vegas, right?

Jay, that roof glitch is well known, I believe the "best" solution is to uninstall Point Lookout temporarily and then play through that portion of the Pitt. I think it can still happen without PL installed, but it has a much lower chance of happening.

Thanks. I managed to get through that part by saving and praying. I'll do that with my Mothership Zeta playthrough.

Did you reboot Jay?

Everyone claims that bug is related to Point Lookout but it has existed long before PL; I had it too, as I said, well before PL came out.

Rebooting my 360 and reloading my save right before walking along that particular rooftop fixed it.

Is anybody familiar with the Fallout 3 Wanders Edition Mod?

I'm trying it out but I have some questions about certain things and I can't seem to find any forums specifically for it. It's gameplay questions and not technical issues that I'm curious about.

It worked. I've done with Fallout 3 for awhile and I've gotten all the achievements.

Hello all--

I am playing Fallout 3 on the 360 with Operation: Anchorage and Broken Steel as DLC. I haven't played int for a couple of months, and when I booted it up today, it would not recognize the DLC, so I've lost many of my treasures, and am worried about screwed-up questlines. When I check the contents of the HDD, it tells me that the DLC is still there, but the game won't recognize them. What is the fix for this?

Have you gotten a new 360?

If so you need to go to the xbox live site and do a license transfer to your new box. DLC is tied to a particular machine, not to your live account or to your hard drive.

That would explain why it wasn't recognizing them.

If that's not the case then no, I don't know what to tell you, I've never heard of that issue before.

It'll be fine as long as you don't save with the equipment removed, just turn off the console until you can sort it ou
