Want to visit the life-size BioShock Big Daddy in Bellevue? :

Old 08-08-2007, 03:13 PM
I was wondering if a group of people wanted to go check out the life-sized Big Daddy that will be located at:

#1979 GameStop
Bellevue Square
248 Bellevue Square
Bellevue, WA

I want to schedule this trip for sometime on Monday August 27th. How about we meet somewhere at 2PM?

Blog post announcing the Big Daddy locations.

Google map showing route from PAX to Bellevue Gamestop. 10.4 miles. 16 minutes.

Don't toy with my/our emotions Red! If you know something (and are not bound by a NDA about the statue itself) tell us please!

My flight leaves at 11:45PM on Monday. I have a full day to do stuff in Seattle. Some others have done the same...

People have tried, and failed. They are reported to be very heavy.

You are not suggesting that we drag it behind the truck with the chain are you? That would damage it!

of... course not.

I was suggesting that we, uhh, bring it to life... and have it drag a truck behind it... to show it's strength. :|

Probably not... The only necromancy knowledge I have came from the Venture Brothers' Dr. Orpheus. He can imprison souls into a Homie and he can make small objects move in an intelligent manner. He can chop onions by controlling a floating knife for example.

Bellevue is also a higher class area and has tons of huge, really nice stores.
(usually more expensive prices to go with that)

Well if you bring the inanimate to life, doesn't that make it a golem? What do they call those who animate golems?

Well, in GW:EN, the little Asura that create golems are known as golemancers.
