Wasn't there one called Pokemon Crater? If I remember right, it was pretty complete, up through 4th generation stuff. Did that one get DMCA'd off the net?
Also, wtf is going on in that image? It looks like an SNES emulator vomited on Ultima 6.
I guess Pokemon Crater is dead, the next closest thing is Pokemon Battle Arena which is trying to ride the coat tails of PokeCrat(I have no idea if this is an acceptable abbreviation.) even going as far as to try and obtain the pokemoncrater.com domain. The Pokemon Battle Arena site is pretty basic, outlining a general idea and citing some features of Pokemon Crater that they wanted to implement in their game, however their signup will not allow you to complete registration and log in doesn't even let you load the page. So, my verdict is that crater is dead and battle arena doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
As for Well of Souls, I have no idea. To me it looks like someone took their base game and mspainted some random sprites and scribbled a bit before posting it. Also, I'm fairly sure he is running like 640x480 resolution.
*edit*
Nowhere Else And Beyond- I actually ended up playing this for a while tonight... alot longer than I thought I would. The core gameplay is basic but it is all fun. This is a great game for someone looking for a simple browser based game to play occasionally. There are quite a few features also, some things I couldn't even believe. This is a very polished game and is of great quality. Details: Spoiler:
Multiple interface skins
Surprisingly good tutorials, very easy to follow.
On the go tutorial for those of us who like to just play a game to learn it.
Decent sprite based graphics, this is how a simple sprite MMO should look.
Turn-based action point combat system as well as a selectable simplified combat system.
passable cooking, mixing and crafting system.
Relatively well written story.
Player Suggestion "Wish Tree" in game with player voting system.
Donations allow you access to diamond tokens at an exchange of 1DT per $5.
Some perks include; "Custom outfit: Allows you to have a personal and unique outfit. Use the Character Generator to produce a custom outfit. 2Tokens
Detect monsters ring: This ring allows you to detect monsters and other players around you. 1Token
Iron boat: This is an improved version of the boat. It will never crash when battling against sea monsters. 1Token
Sapient chest: Will let you carry an additional 1'000 stones of weight for each one you own. 1Token"
In game newspaper with player submitted articles.
Seems to be quite a few events and contests.
PvP Arena with offline cpu fighting for other players.
In game lottery with scratch tickets.
Pickpocketing.
Horse Isle(Yeah, I really played it)- A game where you visit the Horse Isles, you collect horses and ride them. Other things you can do include, playing horse minigames, interacting with towns people who are obsessed with horses and all things related. You can have a ranch and up to 5 horses I think. There is a 180 minute limit with 1 minute being replenished every 8 minutes, this can be alleviated by buying a subscribers account, which surpisingly isn't based monthly per se as much as it gives you 2 months(in minutes) of game time. Seems like it would be good for anyone(female child most likely) who likes horses or wants a semi-fun game to play based on horses. Otherwise, find something else.

Reason
Pokemon Online no longer exists, or at least they didn't renew their domain. Pokemon Indigo is a java based rpg, very slow paced, will not keep fans of the series or rpg fans occupied for long. Pokemon World Online - http://www.pokemonworldonline.net/
Seems to be the best, I would say to put this one up on the list, as it is actually playable, plays similarly to the game, although slightly different, alot of players when I logged on, like 30-40 in pallet town. Any fan of the RBY pokemans will probably enjoy this for a while.
Hope this helps.
*Also, if TPPC ever activates my account I'll give you an update. Voyage Century is the same as Bounty Bay Online, both are great free games with some pretty innovative ideas. If you like pirates, privateers, naval battles or just 17th century culture, these are good games for you. Well of Souls is to be avoided, why you ask? I can answer that with one image. Spoiler:
Great Games Experiment is an indie game portal, if you click on the links at GGE it redirects you to http://www.pokemononline.org/ which is dead.
TPPC Online- HTML\Text based browser game with a pokemon theme, like a mix between Urban Dead and Pokemanz. If you like either of those games you will like this one. It seems to have a pretty decent feature set and runs pretty quick.
Zero Online- There are a few interesting dialogue bits such as the orientation officer daisy "My my, you are a stong one aren't you? Allow me to introduce myself. I am Orientation Officer Daisy at your service. I'm here to help smooth your entry in and ensure you feel... comfortable here on this big, hard, long... deck of the Steel Warship. How may I... service you." -Seriously... WTF?
The game is a click fest, no real story that I could see, the missions are Kill x many of enemy_z and return here or Take item_x to location_z. Graphics are basic with a few nice effects for special attacks, similar to most older Korean MMORPG. The text boxes over lap the dialogue options and alot of them don't make sense. Overall this game wouldn't really be fun for very long I don't think. I really didn't feel like playing it after about 45 minutes. Overall I would say if you can deal with the things I have mentioned above you would probably enjoy this game.
Darkspace- Is a 2 week trial, with recurring $9.99/mo subscription. Seems to be a low quality eve clone, maybe be fun for the 2 weeks but if you are gonna spend $10 why not just spend 15 for the real thing? The interface is a little awkward to deal with, not really intuitive but you can work it out pretty quickly.

If I haven't lost my character I was thinking about playing Voyage Century again, if anyone would like to play let me know, I should still have a guild hall set up.
Server: De Gama and James Cook
Character: Sidney
*re-edit*
My guild is gone, but if anyone wants to play I would be happy to start a PA guild up.

Tried S4 but their site said I had to install on a disk that was not C and it made me realise that the game is still in open beta and that I don't feel like dealing with another beta.
instead I downloaded Project Powder and ... guys MMO Snowboarding is sweet. It's basically a simple snowboarding game (arrow buttons for left/right/speed/slow, space bar for jumping (longer you hold it higher you jump) and asdw for various grabs. Combine those for extra stunts) with a character that you upgrade over the levels and you're playing with/against other players.
It's perfect for a casual gamer or someone looking for a free snowboarding game on the PC.
Ironically this is the exact inverse of my experience - I installed Project Powder based on your post and encountered two game-crashing bugs in consecutive sessions, whereas S4 continues to be my best way to fill up a short slot.
Updated again. Deleted Pokemon Online, made sure it is clear Zero Online is a Korean grindfest added to Project Powder that it isn't working for everyone, edited the entry of TCCP.
It's fun but pubbies are either universally terrible or I played waaaay too many FPSs back in the day. I think all I need is the SMGs and a counter sword and I'm golden. 1st or second like, all the time. I'll have to get past the newbie levels though. Also laggers suck because apparently the servers don't tell them they are dead, but lets them run around and kill people while at 0 hp for like 30 seconds. Either that or hax.
Yeah, lag's an issue. At least it's not consistently in the lagger's favor, though. Often they'll be unkillable but also can't damage other players or pick up the Fumby. Oh and the countersword is just crazy, massive damage, plus knock, plus the range is nuts (and totally doesn't match the size of the animations, making it hard to avoid if you're on the receiving end). I stay ranged and try to kill CSers from afar anytime I can.

Dark Space is a lot older than EVE. Actually a pretty fun game I played for a while in Beta. Not worth a subscription fee but still a good game.
definitely not anything like EVE. Except space...
Did anyone play that startrek game where you piloted ships, ploted courses, targeting etc etc pretty much ran your own capital class star ship? This is like that, only more war.
I got Atlantica installed and patched this morning and played it for some hours today. I love that people gift random lowbies. On one realm some dude gave me 30k gold.

And the great thing is that they get points for doing that. I got some high level dude offering to mentor me *and* give me 200k gold when I reached lev30. He said he would get mentor points that would grant him some shit he would need later on. It boiled to me asking him anything I couldn't figure out myself and we both could just do our own thing.
They really make an effort out of this whole playing together thing.
I think Atlantica needs more reasons to level up. I recently upgraded one of my mercs because he got to level 20. So his avatar changed to a guy with cooler armor. Only he doesn't actually have that armor in battles, he looks exactly the same as my lower level guy of the same type. Cooler looking guys is what tends to drive you from the low to middle levels of an MMO, and Atlantica gets less rewarding in this area. Still a great game though.

Only your main char gets to dress up all fancy, your mercs just have a few models they go through. They are ...replaceable. If your only reason to play a MMO is to get a fancier dress then Atlantica might not be the game for you, there really isn't that much in the way of different armor sets and most of the time you'll be wearing the same as everyone else in your tier.
A large part of the game seems to be about tweaking your party into a machine of destruction, you don't really see that by looking at the armour of your dudes, but there's a lot under the hood.
Dang, I was all set to play Atlantica for a few hours today but servers are shutdown while they move into "Official Release" mode. I am curious about how badly players will depend on things in the Item Mall.

Yup, there has been another patch fixing more bugs and glitches. The only thing I am missing so far are my Teleportation Licenses. You get a few free ones early on, but once they dry up you're gonna miss them.
So I was looking around, and it seems that Blitz 1941 has been taken down. Official site is down, and finding news or updates on the current status is very difficult to find.
Anyone have any ideas?
(For those not familiar, it's akin to Navyfield, only with tanks on land.)

It's not even on my list, so it's safe to say that the game is no longer among us and has not been for a while.
