Okay, I agree it's cool and all, but where's the sniveling dog?

Edit: From the same company, a gadget for the lazy drunk in your life.

You only use an actual hammer on fine work. Otherwise they have big heavy machines to do the big heavy work with a great deal more precision than any human could manage.

My mother has taken some whitesmithing classes and is pretty good at working with silver, but there just isn't a big market for custom jewelry in this economy.
Yeah I figure all the actual old style work of smithing is gone.

One of the more interesting artistic creation things I have seen people do is glass blowing.

I've been reading more of Dreams From My Father. It is such a good book. The way Obama writes is so different from how he talks. He is an extremely thoughtful and complex person and this is obvious when you read something he's written.

Oh damn, Jokerman.

You mean you like William Ayers books? Obama didn't write those at all. God you libtards are such sheeple.

Actually making something is sufficiently satisfying in its own right to far outweigh the pseudo-importance of making six figures.
There is nothing "pseudo"-important about making six figures.
It's just money. If I can get enough to get the things I want from life, what is important about more?
That's fine, but your statement implied that people who do pursue larger incomes are chasing something that doesn't matter, which isn't true. I want to make a lot of money because I want to be able to support a large family. It's one of the reasons I'm considering abandoning my degree for a couple of years to pursue training in something more practical that will pay better.

Kate and Gerry McCann have condemned a Conservative activist who boasted about dressing up as Madeleine McCann at a party, calling his actions "offensive".
Matthew Lewis has now apologised "unreservedly" to the McCanns. He was expelled from the party after telling friends of his New Year party exploits.
Tory chairman Caroline Spelman said the Conservative Future activist's actions were "completely unacceptable".
Madeleine, now five, disappeared in 2007 during a holiday in Portugal.

'Regret'

Despite a worldwide hunt, there has been no trace of her since.
In a statement released on Friday, Mr Lewis said: "I unreservedly apologise to Mr and Mrs McCann for my actions.
"I completely regret my behaviour that night and since, and cannot express how sorry I am for the incredible hurt I have caused.
"Whilst my actions were not meant to be malicious, I fully understand the pain they have brought."

Mr Lewis, who is believed to studying in London, told friends on the Facebook website that he planned to attend a party dressed as Madeleine McCann.
He said his costume would include "pink pyjamas, a teddy bear and a vial of fake blood".
After the party, Mr Lewis used the website to tell another Conservative Future member that "there was a brief moment when I thought I might have gone too far with elements of the costume but it was OK".
Mr Lewis was listed by Conservative Future as its branch chairman in Staffordshire although he is reported to have resigned from the position last month.
Staffordshire Conservative Future's website now lists the post of chairman as "vacant".
He was pictured campaigning alongside Tory leader David Cameron during last year's Crewe and Nantwich by-election.
A spokesman for the McCanns said his actions were "offensive almost beyond belief".

Kate and Gerry McCann are demanding an apology
"His actions are not only disgraceful in themselves, they will also cause great hurt to Kate and Gerry," he said.
"It is a complete disgrace that Madeleine's name and image should be made fun of in this way."
But the spokesman praised the "swift and appropriate" action taken by the Conservatives against Mr Lewis.
In a statement, Conservative Central Office said there was "no place for this sort of person in the party".
"This offensive behaviour is not only shocking but intolerable and completely unacceptable," Mrs Spelman said.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

My mother does that too, small scale though. Honestly I think if the economy hadn't tanked things would be much better here overall (and I wouldn't be scrambling to find Plans B, C, and D) because her jewelry business would have done quite well.

Heh.

I could do ferns, they're actually surprisingly easy with a narrow-spouted jug and a bit of practice. Trying to do several in one pour (like that one) takes a hell of a lot of precision.

I always etched using a themometer, which always seemed to do the job right. The Latte is probably my favorite espresso drink, so i tried to learn as much about crafting them as i could...

No, it implies that society places way more importance on making more money than there actually is. I'm fucking sick of being told I should be a lawyer just because I would "make a lot of money" doing it. What good is that money if I hate myself and my life and what I do at every waking moment and can never feel like I've ever actually accomplished anything, ever? Defining life-success by income is the status-quo at least in this country, and it's utterly disgusting. It also leads to absurd excesses in consumption which are destroying the world.

The best old-school style art is printmaking because they still actually use the big printing presses. I always want to break into the building at night and use the press to churn out revolutionary leaflets.

What is a V-card.

Is it like an official vagina license or something?

"MY WOMAN HOLE IS CERTIFIED AND PAID IN FULL."
My vagina is unlicensed and unregulated. No one knows what it'll do!

Tune in next time for

ROGUE VAGINAS: the legend of the cavernous hellpit
I could license your vagina.
I can certify it right now, you got 2 minutes plus an hour or so of uncontrollable sobbing?

Just make a fake cover over the book with some white paper. Have it say "Republican spank literature". Or Atlas Shrugged for short.

I was always more interested in weird espresso pours, because it's what I drink. To this day my definition of a good coffee shop is one that can make me a lungo and get it right.
