I'm actually pretty fond of all the BC pally sets, minus the silly crowns.

I did play a BE female then though, and they make most armor sets look better since they don't get the ridiculous huge shoulders.

Is it sad that I'm enough of a lore-nerd to want to reroll alliance simply because I hate the direction blizz has taken the horde in northrend with garrosh/broken front/RAS/Battle for the undercity and all that jazz? =/
Once you go gnome you never go back.

Seriously. I regret my death knight being a human every time I look at him. I cry when I group with a gnome death knight. When I play my horde paladin I sit there wishing gnomes could be neutral like on EQ-SZ so I could be an evil gnome.

Fuuuuuck I love gnomes.

I said it over in the dk thread once, if I go alliance, I will definitely not be playing a garden decoration.

Okay, yeah, I forgot about the voidwalker head. HOWEVER, that set did have the best aura/particle graphics, so I wore it anyway. And I loved tier 6. The helm was too wide, but I liked the colors and the WINGS, man. Tier 5 is one of my favorite sets ever in the game, I'll never vendor that.

Tier 5 was good. Tier 6 just... eh. The wings are neat the first couple times, but once everyone had it because of Season 3, I couldn't stand seeing it anymore.

So yeah the still images of tier 8 did nothing for me. However the video... holy shit, looks pretty great.

I do agree lots of them look a little too similiar though. Having just come back to wow after two years off I can't even begin to think about that though. I just got my onxia helm last weekend. Soooo behind the curve.

Spoiler:
Paladin t5 was indeed awful, I was rather fond of t4 though. The gold and white marble-ish texture looked nice. T6 the actual model was fine, but... not a big fan of yellow-gold and most colors together. Blue and gold, meh.

Shammies are consistently classy but sort of lower key. Warlocks are a bit less consistent, but have the most totally awesome sets that really stand out.

T3 made us look like gay sand people.

Edit: We ride single file to hide out Fabulous numbers.

Honestly, I think a lot of WoW gear, tier, epic, quest, whatever... would be so much better if players could at least dye it to their own preferred color. Yes we'd end up with shitloads of dudes in black, but so what? Fucking clown armor is for circuses.

If uhh... circuses had armor.

Tier 5 looked good for Mages. If it was slightly less red it'd be perfect.

But really, it just fits Mages so well. Cloak, hood, robes. Nothing fancy. No gigantic spires that leave me worrying if a tiny Shaman is going to fly in and start DPSing my tonsils. No flappy head-wings. Just basic, old-fashioned Mage-y goodness.

The only bad part was the helm, which you could hide. Meanwhile Tier 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 are all quite good.

I must be the only person who liked the lock tier 3. It was pretty different than any other armour out there.

The T4 lock helm was cool also. I think I was the first lock on my server to get it, and I would get numerous tells from people saying how cool it looks. I mean, you have a freaking black hole behind you!

I really fucking want T8 though. I love how the helm looks. It seems the theme of T8 is to really cover the face, or at least partially. Kinda odd, since you have barbers and the character customization shit.

Same here, I won mine off our first Prince kill and people were like "WTF" constantly, until more guilds cleared Kara and season 1 made it super common.

My wish was that you could turn the hat off but still get the void effect. I looked really ridiculous in my Frozen Shadoweave and then having that hat. It looked a bit better with the actual set but not much.
