I'm ticked at EvE. I reactivated my account with the 5 free days thing, only to find that EvE has huge problems with Vista 64. Can't get past the log in choose-your-face screen. Guess I'm not coming back afterall. Good to know I wasn't booted out of MerchI, though.

I've never heard of anyone having that particular problem, all I find on google is lots of people for whom EVE runs fine on Vista 64. Which is to say, maybe it's something you can fix like with a video driver or looking at the crash log or something.

It's been an absolutely crazy day in EVE, one of the fullest I've played ever. And that's considering I got home at 9pm EST.

This is the best time in any game I've ever played.

So now would be a pretty awesome time to re-sub to the game, eh? I don't really want to play my old character, I'd rather make a new one, start fresh. I'd like to make a character specialized in something like mining or trading (something I can do while I do my homework), any advice on builds? Edit: or I could try to make a pirate and join up with a pirate corp and try to exploit the chaos.
