Okay, so, tomorrow I'm going on the first date I've gotten off OKCupid. She likes to write (Notice my sig), has red hair and loves the Flames. She gave me her e-mail and that's when I noticed she had the same name as a certain actress who played a certain Princess Leia. I'm like "Wait wait wait wait. I better not say anything because she's probably heard it all, but damn I'm so tempted to comment...."

Discovery made today:

You know those little tiny gusts of wind that you sometimes see that whip leaves and things in circles? Like, miniature and harmless tornadoes?

Today I saw one and walked into the middle of it. I felt like a wizard. In the middle of a mini tornado. Leaves and things whipping around me in circles.

I highly recommend it.

I work with someone called Sinead O'Connor.

There is nothing, literally nothing, you can say that is cool or funny.

The only way to be cool is to pretend like it's nothing.

Forever.

Help me make this paragraph better. Assume above it I have outlined why I am radical and perfect for this job.

I think they're called dust devils. The biggest one I've seen I actually thought was a tornado for a second. It went behind my car while I was driving and completely obscured my view through the rear view mirror.

Well shoot... my uncle, who's had a heard "issue" since he was born, needed to have a valve replaced this week. Pre-op and everything went extremely well and the doctors and everyone were all impressed with how strong his body was (health-wise... he's just a normal dude). Anyway, he went under today and, while the valve replacement went off without a hitch, when they were closing him up, his aorta ruptured/tore and they have been spending all day trying to fix that.

They replaced the torn portion with a tube or something, but it's apparently now moved into his brain (what?!) and he's still bleeding. They're moving him to ICU and won't really know how the situation's working out for possibly up to 36 hours.

Gah.

Had one out at my grandparent's place that actually pulled the front porch off of the house.

Aren't thermals and whirlwinds different things, though?
