I hate having pets die. They're like your kids, y'know? Actually, I think pets dying / being put to sleep is actually WORSE than kids or humans dying for some reason. I don't know why. I used to work at a Vet's office in HS (just cleaning cages, bathing the animals, walking them, etc). Every once in a while I had to assist in surgeries. One day, there was this really old dog that we had to put to sleep. He was a big old guy and he looked so nice and friendly. I had to hold him down after the Vet gave him the Ketamine shot because they twitch for a little while after they get the shot. It was really sad.
