Unlikely, since Rikki Barnes' miniseries is named "Nomad: Girl Without a World"!

Isn't it a big assumption that the person looking at the contents of the case is Stark? I mean, at the moment, Stark couldn't make ice much less suit up and use any sort of IM-armor. Could the picture indicate that perhaps Steve's giving the armor to someone he trusts?

It has to be Tony - otherwise, it diminishes the impact of reuniting Cap/Thor/IM.

Tony will no doubt be in the suit during Siege, but Fraction teased that someone else could be in the suit after that.

I could see Pepper in her Rescue suit with Tony as a mentor / whatever for an arc or two.

It's not the first time Marvel's put a substitute in the armor. And admittedly, it's not the first time they've spoiled a character's story by showing them in another written at the same time but set ahead of the first. I mean, there's good odds we'll see Tony jumping into the armor at the end of Stark Disassembled anyway but I'd rather have the whole story come out first before seeing him fly about in other in-continuity plots.

The best case scenario of Tony appearing in Siege is the first two issues showing him still in his vegetative state to give time for the Disassembled arc to play out. Or Fraction could have Tony regain full function by the third issue of IIM and have the rest of the story tie in to Siege.

Why is the repulsor bubble on the top of the glove instead of the bottom (since it is a left hand glove)?

Artistic license or new armor model are the best bets.

Does that mean Bianchi got to do the new armor design? Larocca should be given the chance since he's the regular artist on the Iron Man book.

It's so Iron Steve can project a Repulsor Shield on either arm so he doesn't have to drastically alter his fighting style. The reverse of Cap's "Will" from the end of Civil War is that Tony has a will that states, "If I go down, give Steve some kickass armor - just in case." Of course, he didn't think that would be in effect when he started his brain drain run - he though Steve was dead.

But hey, Tony's incapacitated and Steve's alive so we've got to give him this care package.

(Really it's the only reason I can come up with because the repulsor on the wrist looks damn ugly to me)

I see this and I can't help thinking who'd win in an armor-fight between sick-Cap up there and old Bruce in his exo-suit from Batman Beyond's second Inque episode.

That's like asking who would win in a plain old fight between Batman and Captain America.

Tie.

Batman's parents are dead, Cap can't even say Bucky is these days. Point Batman. And while Cap is a good fighter, Batman was trained by Richard Dragon and all those ninjas who are a yen a dozen in Asia. Cap stayed in Europe too long fighting Nazis and vampire nazis and nazis who have their heads in their stomach.

Seeing as at the moment both previous sidekicks are now donning cap and cowl respectively, i'd go with Captain America

Captain America should beat Batman if you ask me. Steve is explicitly peak human in every physical aspect and a rediculously skilled fighter, Batman is very high physically and rediculously skilled. Therefore, cap wins (also because he has the shield which is better than a batarang any day of the week).

Batman in his exo-suit has that bad-ass music going. Cap would not. Advantange Batman.
