[IC]The Warforged Five, hot bot-on-bot action...

The Warforged Five, a story about Warforged, written by Warforged, intended for Warforged. Parental humanoid discretion is advised.

In a quasi-dormant state, you obey the last given command, quietude and immobility, sensory organs unused. Waiting for a new command.
Then the command seems to fade, as the item binding your loyalty is destroyed, you begin cogitating. Then you exit your "powered-down" state and are assaulted by noises. Battle noises. Screams in a language you don't understand. From the little light streaming in through the cracks, you surmise that your current position is inside a wooden crate. Then an explosion. JN Mark Five. Had you possessed ear-drums, the sound alone might well have shattered them even while protected by the crate. As it is, you hear a very loud noise. And your crate gets upturned and falls. Disoriented and feeling a non-negligible degree of urgency, you promptly Sigmas shatter the crate and stand up.
A strange scene awaits you. You stand on the side of a clearing in a forest. Near the trees. Upturned wagons from which you probably fell lay on their side, somewhat damaged by the blast you felt earlier. Some black... blobs are... fighting? some orcs. Evidence (partially digested orc remains) points to there having been more orcs before the fight. At least one orc seems to be stuck inside one of the blobs. It's hard to tell because they're black.
Dusk is falling. Night is coming. Soon.
Behind the blobs and orks, a strange scene. A clown seems to be doing cartwheels. It's hard to tell which race he is for he has a full clown costume on. From what you can tell, he (or she) doesn't have any tails. On the other side of the clearing (from the clown) stands a Bullywog. Universally known frog-like beings are easy to recognize and you can see him quite well for he is standing on the shoulders of a paint-smeared Warforged. Each one of you has a great view as he bends down and rips the Warforged head apart Blutch, then throws it at the clown (and misses) before he sommersaults off the back of the crumpling Warforged painter and vanishes in the forest.

Those black blobs are oozes. Various kinds. The orcs are orcs. The forest is difficult terrain that provides cover and concealment. Superior cover and total concealment at 15 feet or more. It's full of trees. The upturned wagons provide cover. Superior cover if you hunker down. They're also unpassable without a jump check. If you land on top of one, make a weight check.

    1tothefirst looks up and sees orcs! Nasty vicious things. And clowns. Cleaning machines aren't made to deal with the subtle wit of such human creatures. He hops over a few other metal warriors and prepares to unleash his laser beams upon the biological specimens.

    Suddenly, he burps loudly. What is this organic material he feels in the pit of his...do humans call it a stomach? Does he have a stomach? He looks down, not noticing that his burp has managed to daze the clown and a few orcs, and oh, are those some oozes? If he only had the smelling aparatus of his human counterparts, he would realize that the sheer smell had overpowered the biological creatures.

    Hmmm...what other creatures were out there?

    Darkness. That was all Rohlenbudh knew for a short time. The spirits which have haunted him since his banishment from the commune were incessent. More than once he had searched for some manner of herb that could clear his mind of the spirit's presence. Now, he finds himself aware and looking on an apparent scene of battle. Orcs, blobs...and a clown? Doing cartwheels? How athletic!

    Oh my god! that bullywug just ripped that warforged's head off! Was this...war? but the dragonborn had told him that war was wrong! peace, love, and happiness were all that were needed! why is there war here, now, with rohehlenbudh involved?

    Yet new emotions came surging forward to Rohlenbudh. Had he not been banished? Why continue to follow the old ways - why not go on and be himself? Bolstered by these strange new feelings, Rohlenbudh suddenly sensed a presence near him. Turning his head slightly upward, his metal sagged. A bat. Not just any bat. A spirit bat. Carrying his traditional spear. The bat seemed to chirp at him...he could almost hear Jorah, the dragonborn commune's leader, talking to him, telling him to go get some more herbs for grinding. But Rohlenbudh wouldn't listen. The herbs would be his own now, and he'll be damned if he shares ever again!

    "NOOOO! THE HERBS ARE MINE NOW!"

    Shouting that, Rohlenbudh grabbed the spear and hurled it at the sludge to his right [G13]. The bat spirit dissapeared, but several spider spirits sprung from the ground, swarming the sludge before digging into the body and mystically retreiving the spear. The spiders began to bring it back, but Rohlenbudh wasn't watching. He had moved to the forest edge and was looking along the ground for herbs. Especially the kind that Jorah used to smoke. He had to find something! Anything to make those spirits listen!
    Shift to I10.
    Perception check to look around, nature check to look for herbs. the smokable kind.

    Coda snapped into awareness. She quickly reviewed her operation logs for her current objective, and found.... nothing. No assignment.

    "Error," Coda said aloud, to no one in particular. There had to be something. Scan operation logs. Search objectives. Cross-reference with current visual information. There--assignment initiated in Karrnath. Distinguishing features of target: pale face, colorful clothing. Several possible targets already eliminated, match profile with live feed. Engage tactical maneuvers.

    Coda's head swiveled to the right and left. Another warforged in proximity. Several, actually. Only one was necessary, though. "Engage shadow drive." Shadows bloomed around the iron terminator as she vanished. Coda stepped out of the darkness next to the clown.

    "J'onn Konor?" Coda asked, her Karrnathi-accented voice a monotone.

    The H-1 spill forth from their crate, each gathering sensory data and immediately sharing it with the others. Other (apparent) soldiers... immediate threats limited... clown. The squad hesitates for a moment, attempting to make sense of the data. None of it seems to mean anything. Everything seems a little hazy.

    The squad swarms around the cart to its east, moving past the apparently distracted orcs and oozes and taking cover between the two carts, using them as barriers against unseen threats from the forest. The H-1 decide not to attack anyone until the situation becomes less murky, but they stay on the lookout for the malicious battle toad, ready to do to him what he did to the other warforged.

    51CKLE blinks blanky... His memory fuzzy , but quickly it came back.

    " Ajax terminated.... does not compute.. " Scanning around the scene trying to figure out what was going on.Destroyed Warforged around him he noticed one of the living ones attacking ... A CLOWN?

    " A warforged attacking a clown. Heh." 51CKLE starts giggling.

    51CKLE sees a green monstrocity near him. Scanning his information on orcs - " Orcs cruel monsters probably not here to help"

    He gets up clearing his clothes from the dust of the ground and the crate.Going next to the nearest orc he pulls a bomb out of his cloak , biting the orc and while he screams inserting the bomb into his mouth. As it ticks he says:


    " Run orc. Run."

    r0k had finally had enough. It had finally been able to move around after standing still as a statue for nearly a decade. Then after only a few short weeks of freedom someone had come and shoved him inside another stupid box! Somewhere deep inside of it, something finally snapped.

    "Thot's it! Ah hae hud enaw ay bein' stuffed in wee boxes!" it yelled as it burst from its box. Quickly looking around, r0k noticed the orks, sludge, and clown being attacked by several of it's race. Taking a running leap over the wagon to greet the ork with a kick to the chest, time seems to slow to a crawl as it passes over the top of the wagon.

    As the sounds of the battle outside grew louder along with the chuckling of some sort of strangely war painted entity, the spark of life returned to the eyes of the machine labeled 06. "Yaoroafgo...Yoafaooooo...Yooooo!" he muttered as he sputtered to life "This mus' be some wily ass trip, 'caus I coulda' sworn I was...." he pauses looking down at his body... " AH HELL NO!" in his shock he springs up splintering the crate and noticing the army of crated warforged around him, fortunately they seem preoccupied with the battle, and utterly uninterested in killing him for the time being. Attempting to get his baring Cutter Hunkers down under the nearest wagon.

    Move depends on where he started out but hunkering behind one of the wagons.

    As the hulking warforged assassin steps out of the shadows, the clown makes a "surpised clown" face, then slowly lifts his hands in the air. While Coda looks at the hands, the oversized flower on the clown's jacket spurts out a spray of something. Coda It's cackling laugh resonates in the clearing as it waves it's arms maniacally.
    Meanwhile, a new threat reveals itself as the intrepid herb searcher is suddenly grabbed by the empty air. Upon further examination you can faintly see the outline of a transparent ooze. It is now much easier to see due to the Warforged floating inside it. Rohlenbudh
    There is a lot of confusion as the sorcerer makes a dead run straight for the druid, only to bounce off the furred automaton tumble unto the orc, momentum carrying them both into the awaiting black pudding. Had the construct been able to produce facial features, you could have seen the stunned surprise on his face as well as on the orc's. 51CKLE
    By the way, the orc is screaming in pain. Just so you know.

    Amoro's box crashed open, but rather than land, sprawled like a fool, Amoro's finely tuned instincts and spring-loaded frame allow him to somersault and spring onto the wagon in front of him. What was this before him? Z'ere are zee war-forged...is zat orcs? Zey are quite foul creatures, but zee women, with zat great skin like Mademoiselle Thistlen, ho ho. Is zat a clown? Clowns are friends of ze children! What a fine scene for adventure. Zere is even pudding...how I love to feed a beautiful woman ze pudding by ze bucket! Enough with ze thinking...Amoro is a man of action!

    From atop the wagon, Amoro waves his blade. "State your names and intentions, fiends. Amoro will carve 'ees name across any who act in ze name of villainy!" With his other arm, he pours ale into his mouth (which spills out from his jaw immediately).
    Acrobatics = 34.

    Move on top of I18 assuming that works.

    Perception = 11

    Intimidate = 28

    He scares only ze villains...but who are ze villains?

    Use a cask of liquid gold.

    A Save is a d20 roll, modified only by any bonuses from race or feats that you have. 10 or better saves.

    The clown frowns and looks unhappy. The oozes vibrate for a moment. Then the reddish one flows across the field and seems to penetrate inside the monk r0k and then surround him with its gooey matter, then it spews forth a mass of putrescent, decayed toxic bio-matter at the constructs standing atop the wagon and hunkering behind it, even penetrating the crate to cover the hapless dismembered one. Sigmas, Amoro Valentine, CutterOnly the wooden Warforged seems unaffected as the spray landing upon him is light enough to be classified inconsequential.

    The clown suddenly whips out an overlarge hammer and proceeds to smite the assassin, landing a massive blow to the side of the head, making him see binary stars. Coda Then he lifts his pants, does a few tap-dancing steps and sends his chaotic clown power out. The multicolor energy whirls and whirls atop the battlefield before splitting into three and striking and orc and two warforged straight on the chest, an event upon which they promptly vanish and then reappear amidst the oozes, surrounded. 1tothefirst, horatioThe damage seems minimal except for the orc who reappears in a gory mass of flesh and other disgusting internal orcish parts.

    Horatio surveys the chaos going on around him. He knew that things could go badly for these warforged, but also that they could win this battle. They just needed to have confidence in themselves, and Horatio believed in leading by example.

    He calmly removed his sunglasses from his pocket and put them on. Horatio's familiar, Roger, lept from his shoulder onto his lute, ready to strike the chord.

    "When dealing with oozes, it's important to leave yourself... some wiggle room." 8-)

    Both the chord and his familar's cry were magically imbued and amplifed by the arcane acoustics worked into Horatio's body.

    "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

    The sheer force of the power chord blasted the oozes around him back, and Horatio unsheathed his songblade. He'd fought these creatures before, and he'd resolved that he won't get oozed again.

    The black ooze seems unimpressed by Horatio's musical prowess. Or maybe it is. It's hard to tell with it being an ooze. Whatever the state of its emotions and awe is, it takes a swipe at the now armed bard, but he deftly evades. The ooze is left despondently on its appetite, unable as it was to fill itself with yet another body. An orc arm suddenly sprouts from it and then falls to the ground, it's state of attachment to its previous owner apparently at an end.
    The ooze quickly brings it back into its fold.

    Chestnut comes to, and recognizes orcs pretty much immediately. He had fought orcs in the forest before, and knew they must be destroyed, but there was something else...He found himself clenching his jaw in what might be considered anger. But he couldn't be angry, he was a benevolent guardian! Suddenly remembering his purpose, he recollected the animals living within him, and he instantly knew what to do: hit the orcs with his shields until they were as gooey as the oozes they were fighting!

    Chestnut moves into position to deliver a devastating splinter smash to the first orc to threaten his babies! He holds his shields in front of him in a defensive position, as if to dare the orcs to come get some.

    Chestnut moves to J15 and takes a total defense, or something like that.

    The as-yet-to-act ooze extends its... oozeness towards the druid. Slamming him, grabbing him, squeezing him and popping him into its "mouth", just like a child with squeeze candy. 1tothefirst

    The remaining orc watches as the warforged come into action. Then he hesitates. Unexplicably, he then shoves his arm inside the black ooze, screaming in pain. Or triumph. Or one and then the other. All orc screams are very similar after all. Both at once ? Who knows ? Do you ? He extracts his already-being-digested arm and you can see a sort of device in his clenched fist, some now incomplete runes glow faintly, flickering near the death that awaits digested runes. The orc raises the device, smiling maniacally "YEEESSSSS !!! WARFORGED ! PROTECT ME !!!"
    Will he die before learning of the device's impotence ?

    In his crate, the robot pieces once known as Sigmas are being assailed by the acidic bio-matter from the ooze. Lying in pieces and open, what should have been a mere itchy patch of goo transforms into a catastrophe, dissolving whatever was left of its brain.Sigmas

    "-and He spoke, and the blasphemer's calls fells silent, voice struck down by-"

    Menagerie stopped reciting, turning his head about in confusion. Why is it suddenly so dark? This is not master Basi's tower. What is that horrible noise?

    The warforged stands up, tearing out of the wooden crate as if it were made of paper. He surveys the scene before him, momentarily stunned by the chaos and violence. Warforged? Orcs? A clown? Strange blobs dissolving everything they touch? He looks around for something familiar, mentally rifling through hundreds of pages as he searches for something relevant.

    His lenses lock on a fellow construct suspended in the air. No, not in air, some sort of jelly has engulfed him. Ooze? No. Pudding? No. Gelatinous Cube? Yes! A nearly transparent, acidic creature. Oh dear, that's not safe at all! He shouts a warning to the unfortunate warforged, arcane abilities empowering his words to slam into the creature absorbing him and drive it back.

    "Caution: The alloys commonly used in construction of warforged may corrode and weaken if exposed to the following substances: Acid, sea water, molten rock..."

    Menagerie's efforts send the gelatinous cube crashing into the forest to the west, leaving a dripping but hopefully safe warforged behind. Menagerie has already started moving as the newly freed construct sees its former captor reeling and off-balance, ripe for revenge before it can advance once more.

    Rolenbudh gets a free ranged basic attack on the cube

    Crushing foliage underfoot, Menagerie hurries around the wrecked cart, taking up a position behind two more fellow warforged of... unconventional construction. He rummages around in his head for something to use, something inspiring- Ah, that should do nicely.

    "Take heart and blade my stalwart friends,
    defend your hard-earned land.
    Tonight we take the fight to them,
    and whip their puke green skins!
    Show them that we will not give up,
    'til every orc is dead!"

    He isn't sure if these orcs are friend or foe yet but the peasants' battle song should bolster everyone's determination to survive long enough to find out.

    Until the end of the encounter when an ally makes saving throws at the end of their turn they may reroll one if they are within 5 squares of Menagerie

    And what is that one doing? Acid is quite painful to organics so whatever he's extracted must be valuable indeed. Menagerie peers at the faintly glowing device, attempting to classify and define it.

    From the wood to the south can be heard the famous Bullywug Death Song, like a chorus of death emanating from overgrown batrachians, akin to their mating songs, but you can feel the pain and death embedded within. An overlarge spear, more of a stake really, quite literally a tree with one end sharpened, a five foot wide tree, with leaves still attached, springs out out the woods and impales the hunkering construct behind the wagon Cutter, then shaking him left and right, smashing the wagon in the process.     A strange, faltering music is heard, ending on a high note. The stake's end opens and a Bullywug-on-a-spring is propelled out, straight towards the hapless, back-turned sorcerer, it's palmed feet go through the construct like a spoon through warm delicious butter, slicing it in three unequal parts. 51CKLE

    Deep inside the writhing mass of ooze, 1tothefirst struggled to remember who and what he was. He was a cleaning machine, a helpful defender. He was not an animal.

    Suddenly, primal rage bubbled up from his insides. His metal plating shone and then moved. His metallic belly distended and his face grew long. He transformed inside the dirty, filthy ooze. Suddenly, his instinct to clean was gone, and was replaced by an instinct to maul. He battered the ooze he was in with his snout, hoping to punch a hole through it and get out.
    Minor: Animal Shape: Form of Primeval Boar- I get 24 temp HP
    Standard: Primeval Boar Attack (1d20+14, 2d10+10=[11, 14], [8, 7, 10]) 25 vs. AC to hit, 25 damage.

    Rohlenbudh really wanted to find those herbs. Imagine his surprise when a big glob of...goo swallowed him whole. It made his body tingle in an exceedingly unpleasant fashion, and if there's one thing Rohlenbudh doesn't like, it's being uncomfortable.

    "Dude woah, like WOAH get off me! ahghh!" he moans while inside the cube.

    Seemingly at that moment, the gelatin blob was forced away by a gust of power. The power seems to guide Rohlenbudh's hand down to the spider spirits clutching his weapon, compelling him to pick it up and deliver swift vengeance to the ugly cube. Allowing himself to be swept up by the power, Rohlenbudh grasps the spear and turns to assault his foe...but can't quite figure out where the hell it went amid the foliage. Turning towards the warforged who seemed to have freed him, Rohlenbudh merely shrugged.

    "Your guess is as good as mine dude!"

    In case it wasn't clear, I'm in "beast" form already (it's a free action for me to switch anyway, so it doesn't really matter because I would have switched at the beginning of the round).
    Move: E14
    Minor: Battlemind's Demand (Augment 1), marking the clown and the ooze that's engulfing 1tothefirst
    Standard: Grasping Claws on the clown:
    - 25 vs. Reflex misses. Bummer. Unless I have combat advantage for some reason and I didn't notice, in which case the clown will take 13 damage and be immobilized until the end of my next turn.

    If the clown attacks anyone but me while adjacent to me, I'll use my immediate reaction to Mind Spike him.

    While I'm in "beast" form, my defenses are AC 25, Fort 26, Ref 26, Will 26. My Reflex goes down to 24 when I'm in single robot form.
    I have 3 power points remaining.

    The tiny soldiers sing out as one, a hundred tiny voices combining into a sinister chorus. "Soldiers form up on us! Threat identified. Engaging." They rush over to the clown, impressing a psychic compulsion on him and a nearby ooze. "Face us, you oversized... uh... harlequin... harlot!" Nodding to each other in acknowledgement of the cleverness of their taunt, the H-1 swarm his feet, striking hundreds of tiny blows designed to befuddle the clown and pin him in in place. Unfortunately, he dances clear of their tiny arms, too quick and full of murderous joy to be caught.

    EDIT:
    Also, Grasping Claws can be used as an MBA, so it will be my opportunity attack if he tries to move away. It immobilizes on hit.

    Amoro is not used to falling, but he doesn't let that slow him down. "Zee ground rose so fast, eh?! Zis clown is behind this! If a clown is evil, what 'appens to zee children? Won't someone zink of zee children?!"

    Amoro feels a burning passion inside of him and springs onto his feet and onto the battlefield. He swings his sword in wide arcs. "Clowns...puddings...you are all going to be on zee wrong side of my blade...Zee pointy side! Clown, you are a bad clown!"

    The clown is pulled to Amoro by the shear power of this threat and insult and sliced by its acuity.

    "Stop being a naughty clown and zink of zee children!"

    Turned now facing the group rather than having his head in the forest so to speak, Rohlenbudh realizes that this is not going to be a good day. That jelly cube was just not making him feel good. Thus, rohlenbudh taps his specially crafted belt, provided for him by the hippies for when their withdrawal pains were at their worst. He instantly feels the soothing energy engulf him, helping to prevent him from feeling further pain.

    Now focusing his attention on the battle, Rohlenbudh shifts into a clearer shot position to that dreadful clown. That clown turned out to be a big frowny face and he didn't like it one bit. Indeed, we must think of the children, as that oddly dressed funny talking warforged said.

    "Yo clowny, betcha don't like spiders do ya? Well neither do I! Get away from me and go get him!"
    he shouts to the spiders still chittering away near his feet. They immedietly do rohlenbudh's bidding and run away into the forest.

    "Man these dudes are so uncooperative sometimes"
    Shift to H12. I gain +3 ac/+3 reflex for shifting. +2 ends at the start of my next turn, +1 from item ends at the end of my next turn.
    Minor: use ironskin belt, item daily power. resist 5 damage EOMNT
    Standard: spider spirits on clown. 20 = miss

    Under the influence of the Blood Ooze, the martial artist construct looks upon the bard in front of him. His fists clench. The power of his ki flows through him and the ooze. Then, unbidden by him, his left fist lashes out, passing straight through the bard's back, and emerging in front of the surprised music adept. Right then the other arm snakes around his neck and the monk suddenly widens his arms, tearing his newfound brother-in-arms in half. Horatio, r0k

    The clown's eyes never leave the Bullywug as he gets buffeted and beaten by the awakened Warforged. He sighs sadly. "Damn you, Warforged. I would have loved you. You would have been as children to me. Look at the mess you made. You leave me no choice"
    Lifting his clown hammer above his head, he screams :
    THE POWER OF CLOWNS COMPELS YOU !!!

    The clown seems to burst into joyful colors, a full rainbow of snaking ribbons, bursting from him, growing and growing.

    Beautiful.

    As the colors spread among them, the Warforged discover that colors hurt and confuse. When the colored ribbons die out, the clown has vanished ! And so has the assassin ! Coda

    Oblivious to the commotion, the translucent ooze slithers out of the forest, trees toppling in its wake, it ponderantly re-grabs the seeker. And the orc too for, good measure. It's hard to tell, but it's very annoyed about the food that keeps getting away.

    r0k gets his first taste of metabolic sickness as the ooze permeates him even more fully. The ooze unleashes a series of disgusting attacks at the Tree'forged, the first one hitting with devastating effect while the others bounce harmlessly, deflected by shields and armor. Fortunately, the squirrels made it through unarmed.

    The black ooze keeps digesting the orc. At least you believe it is as you saw the orc go in there earlier. Disrupted by the bright colors that assailed it even though it's blind, the ooze fumbles it's attack on the swarm of bots. Or the swarm of bots deftly evades. Relative to point of view.

    Menagerie points with his glaive to the orc holding the damaged control device and yells, "He is no savior my brothers, he seeks to control and enslave us all! Join me and we will drive him from this town, never to return!"

    Silently cursing his speech impediment, he takes up a position alongside the rather flamboyant Amoro Valentine, searching for the next passage to turn into a weapon. Put down, push away, let go, there's got to be something! Aha!

    "Get your filthy hands off my daughter you bastard!" he shouts, the wave of sound slamming into the cube hard enough to send ripples over its nearly translucent surface. It forces the jelly back into the trees, the warforged peeling free from it with a rather disgusting 'SCHLORP', and spurs him to a safer position behind Menagerie. "I don't want you seeing him again, y'hear?" he says to Rohlenbudh.

    Chestnut sees a fellow being in danger, and something inside of him screams. Maybe it was the shrews, maybe it was his 'subconscious', or maybe it was just the clown playing mind games, but either way, he felt a beckoning to protect these beings that were getting assaulted by the oozes. He steps forward and barrels his shield under and across the ooze that wounded him, upending it several feet away. As it lands, it quivers like a pool of liquefied horse bones, and makes a rather funny 'SPLORP!' sound. "Take that, you vile puddle of tuberculotic speutom!"


    Chestnut moves to H15 (via I14 to avoid a AOO) and uses

    As the druid is being not so slowly digested by the black ooze, its digestor attempts to seize the other druid but fails. Meanwhile, one of the orcs escape the other black ooze; he doesn't seem to be in very good shape anymore.

    The bullywug has left it's spring and flown to the top of the beat-up wagon, where it takes a nice oratory pose and delivers a short speech.

    Rohlenbudh could still see the lights in his eyes...they were so pretty! Like, psychadelic, dude! But not even the pretty lights could make Rohlen forget about that damned cube. Yet, even as he turned to make his vengeance against the cube, another one of the warforged came up to him and gave him a solid slapping.

    "OW OW OW hey man what gives?!? chill out!! snap out of it dude!"

    Upon speaking the word "chill", Rohlenbudh's spear glows with frigid energy. Seemingly oblivious to this fact, Rohlen hurls it at the cube which had eaten away his pride. Streaking towards the cube, the spear turns into a frozen wisp which strikes the cube and melts around it, encasing the gelatinous monstrosity within a layer of hardened ice.

    Amazed at the manifestation of his weapon, Rohlenbudh notices too late that the spear has materialized in his hands again. Upon seeing it in his hands, his mind clears from the fog induced by the pretty lights earlier.

    "jeez man this spear just won't leave me alone. ug, i feel like crap, had too much jelly today!"

    Amoro learned about many creatures from reading fairy tales and stories of high adventure. Bullywugs were not one of those things. Frog princes, however, were.

    "Sacre Bleu! Somebody fetch a princess for zis poor prince! Zis is a strange day indeed!"

    Nearby, a pudding was eating a war-forged.

    "Pudding does not eat, it is eaten...so EAT ZIS!"

    The pudding slides away as Amoro does a jolly dance celebrating his amazing prowess and wit. Any ladies around are suitably impressed...if they are into that sort of thing.
    Move: Shift to F13.
    Standard: Hectoring Strike hits! writhing darkness for 18 and slides it one square north. It is rattled and I have CA versus it until EoMNT.
    Minor: Sexy Dance.

    Summary:
    PC in F13.
    Writhing Darkness 2 (? I am bit unsure what is what here actually) @ 178/252. -2 to hit. Amoro has +2 AC and CA vs.

    The cube apparently taken care of, Menagerie turns his attention to the ooze-possessed warforged currently beating the crap out of his fellow constructs. He brushes Rohlenbudh aside and grabs r0k by the shoulders, shaking him hard.

    "Out of my way, man, can't you see the poor fellow is ill?"

    The strong words of Menagerie seemed to trigger a change in r0k, reminding him of the companionship he experienced with the monks. This was enough for him to finally muster the will power to expel the corrupting influence of the slime.

    "Ye damn slime! Yoo've used me lang enaw!"

    Now that r0k's will was his own again he began to try and get a grip on the slime that still occupied his body.
