***************************
*********DFS 2.53**********
***************************

The Democratic File System (a product of Packo Industries) was designed with the security of your files in mind. When malware strikes, sometimes your system just has a few milliseconds to respond. Instead of relying on the operating system to make arbitrary decisions, DFS shuts down all file creation and modification, and calls on the files themselves to find the culprit.

DFS is designed to root out hidden, fake, and real malware using investigative, protective, destructive, grouped, itemized, protocol swapping, protocol redirecting, and protocol suppressing programs, though individual systems may have varying numbers of these capabilities.

Most programs must run publically, but some files do not. The democratic deletion vote runs publically.

DFS locks your files down to prevent the malware from spreading, permanently deletes files to prevent a second outbreak, and uses no random numbers to perform its task.

Translation:
There may be none, any or all of the following: seers, guardians, vigilantes, thralls, masons, items, millers, power stealing, power destruction, power redirection.

Every player has a public power which they target using target: someone
Every player can vote to delete a file each day: vote: someone
These can be retracted and then changed by using !retract someone or !retract someone.

There is no conversion, resurrection, or randomness.

A cycle starts at 11:00 PM EDT and lasts until 11:00 PM EDT the next day. The game will probably start soon, with the first vote ending on Saturday or Sunday.

Sign up with a number between 1 and 40. Each number has already been assigned a role. Feel free to ask any questions you want, though I reserve the right to laugh at your attempts to fish for information about rules.

Newcomers are always welcome. It gives us someone to throw under the bus on the first day when we don't have any grudges.
