Yeah, I wouldn't mind a darker brown in those boots either. Since I can't find anything like the damn things to begin with, I'm willing not to be fussy.

Also shoe-wise, I found these at Target on sale the other week; they're comfy to wear with jeans and a t-shirt to work.
Cool, I just got those today.

And is Poldy around? I want to know if I can find those in XS if I look around, or if it's just a made-up size. All I found at the store was S, and it's a bit too big for me.

You must be a very small person. Extra small, if you will.

I finally managed to track down a pair of the 123 Klan Adidas for a reasonable price, don't even care if they're not in a skate style, I've been looking forward to getting my hands on them for so fucking long:

Spoiler:

(I wish I could afford to be a sneaker head)

That jacket is excellent. I approve.

I have that jacket. It works well with matching pants and a light blue shirt. Versatile between meetings and chilling out at the sidewalk restaurants. Easily covers my 1911 with room to spare.

Edit: That lawyer looking dude in the Leather trenchcoat looks horrible.
He looks like Ben Stiller trying to look like a douche.
I can't really make out the tie he's wearing, but it looks pretty bad. I think that puts me off too. The jacket itself might look better without the little strap things on the shoulders. Epaulets? I can't remember what they're called.

What is that, a leather bathrobe?

My dad has a coat like that, but I'm pretty sure that he hasn't worn it since the 70s.

and seriously, Incenjucar, it literally terrifies me that after having 50 some people tell you that a particular leather trench looked fucking terrible on a guy, you waited for a new thread and posted it like it was a good look. I don't know what gets me more: Your failure to learn or that you saved that picture. That guy looks terrible.
What the hell are you talking about?

I've posted pictures of BOOTS in this thread.

I only know of one picture in all the world (in several copies, but I don't have one) in which I am wearing that trench coat, and I wore it with every crazy piece of clothing I owned at that point as a joke (because fuck it was way too hot).

So what the hell are you accusing me of now?

--

Gafoto: I do not own goth clothing, as I am not a goth, or in any related genre or theme. I am just a generic guy who makes people uncomfortable.

--

Anyways, back to the actual discussion: Is there a kind of suit-esque jacket that doesn't come with horribly stuffed shoulders that make you unable to lift your arms without tearing something?

I like the look, but I can't stand immobility, and my shoulders are broad enough as is.

t Fireguy: Two-button or three-button sport jackets are generally comfortable unless you're doing gymkata or something. They'll compliment your new build since you've lost so much weight.

Unless you're wearing them with slacks, I'd go with something tweed-like.

Will: Noted, thank you.

I take it blazers are like somewhere between sports jacket and suit jacket?

People have said it in the past, but Express Men has some cheap blazers. I bought one for around 100 dollars.

That's called being creepy. With the pony tail and taste for awful clothing, I'm gonna go ahead and say that my guess that you were the creepy comic book guy in the last thread was actually correct.

I don't like those adidas shoes either, if it helps.

My shoes, however, are awesome and if you disagree, you suck.

Don't. I feel the same way about most of the stuff that gets posted in here, but really it's all about where you live and who you hang around with.

A pair of plain brown boots, some jeans, and a plain t-shirt go a long way where I'm from, so I just read this thread to be amused by the strange and/or interesting stuff other people get away with wearing.

I wasn't talking specifically about the shoes. (though I didn't really care for them either) I must have missed your shoes. I'll go back and look.

People have different tastes, especially between different segments of society and region.

Age, culture, etc etc etc.

The only thing that's at all consistent are colors and patterns, and what effect they have on your appearance.

Has (or can) anyone post pictures good non-formal outfits that involve blazers? People keep asking about blazers, but most of the time I see them worn in ridiculous outfits. (Jeans + tshirt + blazer = usually bad in my book)

Really? That shirt is way too loud to me, and I used to love loud shirts.

Also, 2 button blazers/jackets > 3 button blazers/jackets. You should be showing off your shirt and/or tie, not covering it up with the coat.

This is part of what I'm talking about too. Women say,"oh, that outfit is hot," and I say, "oh god, make it stop!"

I need to find the point where what I like and what other people like meet.
