As far as I can tell, that summarization of the Lone Wolf is incorrect. The Lone Wolf will only slaughter all members of a party that he is escaping with. I don't see anything that indicates that if only one school remains on the island and the Lone Wolf is a member of that school and not dead, the Lone Wolf will kill all remaining players in that school. I believe at that point it would be a mad dash to discover the identity of the Lone Wolf. If I am incorrect, I'd like to see what I missed, but I don't think I'm incorrect. In any case, that's a pretty extreme hypothetical anyway. If only one team is alive, and the game hasn't ended, it's because someone is still trying to meet his win conditions. The game ends when one team is left, but since a lone wolf is not truly a part of your team, it will not end.

I figure with most schools outed and people not believing anyone is from that school now. Would it be bad if we accidentally killed one, being that we didn't know they were in our school or trusted them about being from our school?

Well right, but it's more advantageous for the Lone Wolf to stick with the group until some time just before they are the only ones left, and then the school group has the advantage if the Lone Wolf tries to attack. It's hard to explain, but there is a period of time where it's to the Lone Wolf's advantage to act like a normal student.
