I've got this beat up old Isuzu Rodeo that I've been slowly turning into a decent vehicle. Got to really test out the 4wd in the awesome 6" of snow we got Saturday. Mother fucker wouldn't let go. I can see it being a real nasty offroader once I'm finished.

I can't support the "buy a fucking subaru" enough they are such great cars and there is no reason to buy an automatic, manuals are so easy - especially in Subies seriously, fucking great cars. I had a legacy wagon for years and years before it finally pretty much died on me at 320k miles

All-wheel drive, they drive like fucking tanks, and they are usually available for around $2000 used. And they're awesome. Seriously. Great commuter cars for folks without a budget. Gonna have to go ahead and agree with this one. My buddy's family has one, it's a beast but damn if it's never really broken

My buddy's family has one, it's a beast but damn if it's never really broken subarus never break down they only lose features oh, the antenna broke off? no it didn't, you simply don't own a subaru with an antenna any more. Only steers left? You lost the "turns right" feature. No problems, there's a workaround.

The camry has always been ugly. The previous accord was very very decent looking, but the new one is just terrible. I thought "maybe the pictures dont do it justice". But i've seen a bunch in person now. They're a terrible mess. The styling and proportions work for the Accord Coupe, which looks pretty nice, but on the sedan it's just horrible. Boo, Honda, boo. It's a shame because it's otherwise a great car and the interior is a step up.
