Anybody got a good build for a SS/WP Tanker? I'm looking for good damage and high survivability. If I can't have both, I'd rather absorb damage like a sponge than deal it out.
Rise to the challenge is pretty much your best friend in WP. Slot it out with as much healing as it can take, as well as end red and accuracy debuffs.
I agree with the two-three healing and one-two endurance reduction enhancements. Don't waste a slot with a tohit debuff though; the base value is too low for it to matter. If you want to, you can slot the -recharge proc from the Dark Watcher's Despair IO set. So 3-5 slots are usually more than enough.

Edit - He's my first 8 foot tall character (hopefully the last) and if I had to give him a story, it'd be that he was a wrestler and was kicked out of the profession over some sort of accident. Any ideas? The funnier the better.
Sam "suplex" Lorenzen was a hard man to hire. No diploma and a small list of petty crimes made him a tough sell. But he managed to get a job at the local Hero Burger where it took him 9 months to work his way up to the fryer. As sad as his life was, he always had his wrestling shows to keep him optimistic. He would scream his way through every hour of spandex clad men duking it out in the ring, dreaming of the day when he too would be a wrestling icon.

Lost in a daydream at work one day, tragedy struck. The fries were up.

The ding of the bell set him off. He was on the mat, he saw his opponent, Larry "The Night Manager" Walowski. Lorenzen was on him like a flash, and in moments had him set up for the Samuel L. Suplex and to the roaring of the crowd, he delivered the signature finish.

Larry's frantic attempts to get his head out of the fry oil drew the attention of a hero waiting in line who promptly arrested Sam. Sam heard nothing but the roar of the crowd, and saw only his trainer leading him away to wrap him up for the next fight. Sam was finally the champion.

Does this game allow for dueling or some such, aside from the PvP zone shit?

Hells yes. Nabrus, you totally took my idea, ran with it, expanded it, and made it even more badass. Kudos. So who's making the Night-Manager char?

Hell, I'll do it when I get off work tomorrow morning if nobody else does. Sounds like an interesting costume challenge.

That's totally badass. Maybe I'll make Fry Guy #2, a smaller, dinkier, nerdier version of Suplex Sam.

I use to wrestle, locally, and my stables name was The Drive-Thru. We were three McDouglas fast food workers who were huge wrestling fans that became wrestlers. Big Mic, Big E. Fry, and Small Fry...with food themed signature moves like the Five Piece Nugget Splash and the Supersizer. Oh lord it was horrible and wonderful and hilarious.

You unlock new costume parts at later levels, yes? Does anyone have a list of what they are and when you get them?

You get Capes at 20 and Auras at 30. You can unlock some weapon models via badges at varying levels. You can also unlock wings and travel-power-related boots by buying recipes from the auction house. Then there are some special-event costume pieces that can be unlocked via badges/missions/etc during those event (V-day and Christmas). There's a couple costume pieces unlocked via mission/TF/SF badges (witch hat, roman costume, epaulets). Then there's a bunch of veteran reward costume pieces.

I might be missing some, that list is just off the top of my head. ParagonWiki should have them all. Edit: Unlockable Costume Pieces, Invention, Veteran, Weapons. And I forgot the Wedding Pack and GvE (covered in Unlockable).

I should try and find videos and figure out how to put them on YouTube. I can't imagine how terribly they are.

Pro tip: When someone tells you, "leave the screws in, you'll get enough height and velocity to break it" do not believe them.

I semi-reported his post for awesome. I reported the Night Manager post for awesome and included Accualt's post.

Some of my friends back in California were running their own wrestling circuit for like... six years. They were doing storylines and everything. I was, and still am, proud of them for having no shame. And some of the shit they did was cool.

No shame?

I assaulted people with French Fires.

I used McDonald's food trays to perform the Frydamninator.

In one match I performed the Mandible Claw with a cheeseburger.

This was our entrance song.

I miss it all so

All this wrestling shit from this thread had me thinking about it at work today while I was unloading the truck shipment. And most of that thinking was when Hulk Hogan's theme came to mind. And not just any theme. His NES generated theme from Wrestlemania. I still can't get it out of my head.

Alright, I hereby bequeath the Night Manager to anyone who can come up with a good powerset/costume for him. I'm tired and lacking in creativity at the moment, and couldn't get past "flaming dude in a tie".
