From The Nearly Infamous Zango, the story of a megalomaniac second generation supervillain too lazy to get off the couch.
Spoiler:
Deacon Dread then explains to Zango that he's been working on a way to create a deadly army of animal and vegetable monsters. Later, he gives Zango a demonstration using an apple, and it doesn't go well..
From Jay Faerber's (Dynamo 5, Venture, and Noble Causes) new book, Gemini. The book follows an ordinary man who has been brainwashed/hypnotized by a shadowy cabal of nerds into becoming a superhero every night, without his knowledge. Gemini has just aided superheroes Venture and Luna in apprehending some supervillains, as his controllers watch through the special contact lenses he wears.
Spoiler:
From this week's Invincible Iron Man by Matt Fraction. Tony was pulled away from supermodel sex due to SHIELD business, and he's having a conversation with his friend and assistant Pepper Potts about it. These panels don't actually flow in this sequence, so if it reads funny, that's why.
I find it funny that Layla was in the MA thing that had the whole theme about catapillars and butterflies and then when she shows up in the X-Factor one-shot this week she's talking about catapillars and butterflies again.

So I guess Pepper's moved on past Happy's death then? Or do Pepper and Tony always flirt, like Moneypenny and Bond?
Fraction touched on it in the Order, but I think the Knaufs should have probably dealt with it more since they were the ones who threw an overt attempt at being relevant and controversial into the mix with his death in the first place.
