I've always liked this, but maybe for the nostalgia involved. It is, however, probably the most memorable of Comic Covers that I can think of, next to Jason Todd dying.

Though I can't find a picture of it right now, one of my favorites is the one where you see Beast's hand gripping a picture of him with a shattered picture frame.

That's Astonishing #4, I think. Although it's probably more known for what happens inside than the cover.

In a DC Nation a while back they ran a contest of some sort to vote on the best DC covers of all time. This was the winner: Does anyone at all agree with this? I think that cover is terrible. Sure, it conveys good emotion, but the art is really bad. Superman's face looks like crap. And he has Elvis sideburns.
