Lots of great covers in these comics...

Oh, and someone mentioned they'd love to buy a book with just fables covers: you can

I've always liked this, but maybe for the nostalgia involved. It is, however, probably the most memorable of Comic Covers that I can think of, next to Jason Todd dying.

Though I can't find a picture of it right now, one of my favorites is the one where you see Beast's hand gripping a picture of him with a shattered picture frame.

That's Astonishing #4, I think. Although it's probably more known for what happens inside than the cover.

Uh, do you think you can link some of those instead of inlining them? They're good covers, but there are a lot of them.

Thank you for providing that link. I was able to use it to find some of my favorite Daredevil covers, which I will share. *Note* Just because I like the cover doesn't mean the story was good. For example, the Tree of Knowledge run was terrible, but I particularly like one of the covers from the series.

Without further ado, my Daredevil favs:

Daredevil: The Man Without Fear #1 by Frank Miller
Spoiler:

Daredevil #319: Fall From Grace
Spoiler:

Daredevil #327: Tree of Knowledge
Spoiler:

Daredevil MK Relaunch #1 - Joe Quesada
Spoiler:

Daredevil MK Relaunch #15 - David Mack
Spoiler:

Daredevil MK Relaunch #62 - Alex Maleev
Spoiler:

Daredvil MK Relaunch #66 - Alex Maleev
Spoiler:

Daredvil MK Relaunch #71 - Alex Maleev
Spoiler:

Daredevil #105 - Lark

Glad I could help out. I've been just randomly browsing through some of the series they have there looking at covers.

Man, this issue was badass. Those three ninja guys were so badass. Not badass enough, I guess, but really badass.

Some of my favorite covers are thankfully from some of my favorite books.

Nextwave almost always had awesome covers. A few of them were real "how in the hell did Immonen even think of something like this.Spoiler:

Casanova has had really neat covers for every single issue.

The singles of JSA: Unholy Three and Liberty Files were crazy, but I own the trade instead.

In a DC Nation a while back they ran a contest of some sort to vote on the best DC covers of all time. This was the winner:

Does anyone at all agree with this? I think that cover is terrible. Sure, it conveys good emotion, but the art is really bad. Superman's face looks like crap. And he has Elvis sideburns.

Its win probably has more to do with being iconic than the quality of the art itself.

And thus all the standards for good art were automatically invalidated.

i didn't mean it like that. what i meant was there is nothing technically wrong with that image. the anatomy is fine, the composition is good, the pose is actually possible for someone who is not a shapeshifter, the coloring is good, etc. Saying that cover is terrible... is wrong.
