Hurray, catch up is finally done. Getting into work 30 minutes early has it's perks.
Anyway, before I vote for anyone today I'd just like to clarify that the Shamus bandwagon is because he voted for the wrong person at the wrong time and tied the second place vote?
galenblade, if you want me to break apart that post you made I'll get to it later but work just went manic as I was making this post.

If you like. I'm not utterly convinced of it myself, but I have the same gut feeling as worked for Trust, so I'm rolling with it.
And I'm certainly not convinced enough to change my vote from Shamus.

Ah, it's nice to be home.
Anyway, this is my reasoning for my nominations, apologies if it is somewhat disjointed but I typed it over the course of the working day and work was somewhat busy so it took me a while.
Day 1: RNG gave me LaOs, switched to B:L when a case (admittedly bandwagon) against him came up and because Cuba was irritating.
Day 2: B:L got protected. It seemed more likely this was to do with a bad guy network of some sort than a good guy one, as you can't seer Day 0. Knowing what we now know, this was obviously not the case but it seemed somewhat logical, at least to me, at the time.
Day 3: James. I honestly forget why I voted for him. I think it was because there was a flimsy case against him, which was more than there was against anyone else.
Day 4: galenblade. I explained my reasons for this, and you posted to refute this. As that vote was more a "uh, no clue" vote, I retracted and voted for Dynagrip because of the building case against him. I retracted this once his posted his wall of text as I don't think killing any special is a good idea. The FWD vote was based off of the small amount of theory that was posted and I didn't have any better targets that I was suspicious of.
Day 5: Medopine. I explained my reasoning at the time. I felt she was typically more active in chat prior to the phalla (not comparing it to her current chat activity as she thought, I haven't posted in or visited chat at all lately), and as it's my first phalla I don't know her typical modus operandi in phallas. Apologies if she felt she posted more than one-liners, there was nothing that stood out in my mind. I went to bed pretty early and I didn't check the phalla prior to this as I had been drinking and I was tired. The whole Trust thing came up after I left the thread for the day or I probably would have voted for him - my Medopine vote was more a hunch than anything else, and she replied to explain why this hunch was bollocks after I left.
Luckily I have some WoW raids for the next few days so I will be around at vote close because I raid 1am - 5am. I would also point out that aside from yesterday you've voted for FWD, B:L and Malkor, all of whom were good guys. According to eecc's spreadsheet, I posted to vote for Medopine at post 2658. I then left the thread and didn't check again until about 7am this morning when I woke up to get ready for work (vote closes at 4am for me). The first vote for Trust was at post 2682, I think. Until that point there wasn't really any evidence against him, and as I'm not in the Mafia I was unaware that he was more active there |
