I need a quality whiskey right now and don't have any. Should I go buy one?
For my 21st birthday one of my buddies bought me Jim Beam white label which is about £20 ($38) or something. It was the nicest tasting spirit i've ever had just after Sailor Jerry Rum.

I had a weird numbered Jack Daniels when I was 18 that seemed expensive that tested close to the Jim Beam taste even though ones a whisky and ones a bourbon (I think that's right?).

Oh, and has anyone here had the proper Bundaberg Rum from Aus? The one that's like 60% alc or something. It's my girlfriends favourite rum, and in a mixer it's not too bad, but on its own it's like paint stripper.

Holy shit. The new academic in my research group was bashed and robbed last night on the uni campus. After being in Sydney for like a month or something.
not cool are they ok?
Unsafe college campuses suuuuuck...
Cut on the back and apparently bleeding ears but otherwise fine. Still, that's some bullshit like there and where it happened I vaguely recall their being some irateness about the complete lack of lighting in the area after hours.

It´s really not. Total chance that it worked out this way. If Germany wins we are going to party so hard it will cause seismic events.

Germans are tiny people and their women are much more attractive than their men (possible exception is haphazard, world renown sex god). This is the sum total knowledge gained from my european experience so far.

Morning.

I fully intend to do nothing at all today, since circumstances mean that everything I was planning to do over the weekend can't be accomplished today.

Which reminds me, the girl Cesca shared a residence with in Cambridge had one of these:

Unfortunately, it appears it's one of those items that are trumpeted as triumphs of design, and thus is very expensive for what is, at heart, a stovetop coffee maker.

Maybe I'll just get a Moka pot.

So, I am watching this movie called STORM and it's pretty good so far.

It's Swedish and reminds me of The Matrix.

I can´t spell it properly. It is a village about an hour away from Frankfurt, near the town of Marbourg. I´m staying with a friend.

Is 'STORM' Swedish for 'The Matrix'? I am not familiar with their language.
