I need a quality whiskey right now and don't have any. Should I go buy one? For my 21st birthday one of my buddies bought me Jim Beam white label which is about £20 ($38) or something. It was the nicest tasting spirit i've ever had just after Sailor Jerry Rum. I had a weird numbered Jack Daniels when I was 18 that seemed expensive that tested close to the Jim Beam taste even though ones a whisky and ones a bourbon (I think that's right?). Oh, and has anyone here had the proper Bundaberg Rum from Aus? The one that's like 60% alc or something. It's my girlfriends favourite rum, and in a mixer it's not too bad, but on its own it's like paint stripper.
