hurgh let's see uhhh
it cost a little over $1100 total, and I think about $200 of that was tip -- so yeah about $900
|
Ok
what I have in mind would probably run $3-5k
but I'm not in a rush
|
$3-5 k? jesus christ are you serious
was it the octopus one you described? how big are you thinking of making it? seriously, mine took 2.5 hours for the outline, 3.5 for the branch, and 1.5 for the flowers -- and it's huge
|
yeah, I'm realizing your tattoo is bigger than I thought it was but what I have in mind would probably also involve more colors and more detail
basically I want to get a big octopus on my right thigh with some of the tentacles going below the knee at least
|
I seriously doubt you're looking at more than $1500 before tip, dogg -- that's still 10 hours of work at a really expensive parlor, like slave to the needle or something similar
|
ok, good to hear
I'm pretty new to this shit
but again, I'm taking my time to figure this all out and am still very much in the planning and research stage
very likely this won't happen till next spring/summer
|
well awesome, keep me posted! I love the octopus idea -- octopuses and owls make for neat tattoos |
