Any one looking to rock out with other PAers on Xbox LIVE is more than free to add the gamertag Rock Band PA. Once the invite has been accepted, you can then select Rock Band PA from your friend list, shift a pane, and then browse all its friends. As far as courtesy goes:
Drop a message or inquire as to which slot is available to whomever is rockin' in Band Quickplay.
Headsets aren't required but it does make the whole a bit more fun.
Don't be a dick. This is just for fun.
Warn others before you sing back-up vocals to I'm So Sick.
If you have DLC, be prepared to play it because a majority of the PA people have large amounts of them. We don't really try to match up DLC, but if it is there, we're fucking playing it.
Here are some of our recent "Sex Generals" outings:

IV. Gold Star Cut-Offs
A Gold Star is like a 6-Star. You do NOT need to hit 100% of the notes, it's just another high score level after 5-Star. Scrolling down your setlist and seeing a bunch of Gold Stars is a pretty amazing feeling, so get crackin'.
V. The Credits
(Ooh come on, I wanna take you higher, ooh come on, let's make electric fire!)
This entire OP and it's format was formulated by Unbreakable Vow.
A very special to thanks to those who have contributed to the thread including MidgetSpy, Houn, Lord Yod, mxmarks, Lunker and the countless other regulars in who keep us going through these threads like candy to a 2nd grader.
Life is Beautiful is a pretty good song, bass notechart is hysteria-ish and it'll probably take me awhile to get use to. I plan on picking up the two SOAD and maybe the MC song.

I finally got my first 'Big in X' achievement last night by finishing off Stockholm. Only 10 gamerpoints, but it was still strangely rewarding. Doubt I can get the rest before RB2 release though.
I cried while playing Life is Beautiful because it IS so beautiful. (bonus points for having read Heroin Diaries) (More Bonus points for actually hating SixxAM) (Triple Bonus Points for still Loving this song)

Triple Word Score for Sixx AM!!! That would be alot of points for using all those X's
I was just thinking about how much DLC I need to buy.
I'm already planning out how to have some sort of RB2 party when it comes out, and how I can con my wife into playing with me more so I can get a few more of those BWT achievements before RB2 comes out!!

I've already alerted my wife that Sept. 14 is Rock Band Day, and I claim all rights to the television from sunrise until we go to work on Monday. I'll also be inviting some people over, and I'm hoping that however the World Tour mode is set up lets me unlock all of the on-disc songs in time for an epic get-together. I would seriously take off from work an extra day or two solely for RB2, but unfortunately we're going to press at the magazine I work for, so such time off is verboten.
It's going to be terrifying and beautiful at the same time to get RB2, import the RB1 songs, scroll over to Random Play and realize that I have 180+ songs to choose from.

Yeah the thing is I already do all of the cooking anyway. She's just kind of burnt out on the on-disc songs so the tours are not really that fun for her and we're at the point where we've expended most of the "choose your own set-list" stuff.
I have figured out ways to bribe her in the past, I'll just have to come up with new ones.
I kind of feel like when you're getting to the level of involvement present in Rock Band, isn't it just easier to start your own actual band with proper instruments? I wouldn't be surprised if it was cheaper, assuming you went the usual start-up band route and get the cheapest second hand gear available/steal instruments from your friend's dad's attic.

Studies have shown, surprisingly, that games are not the same as real life.
Yeah my wife and I are going to rehearse with the other married couple we occasionally play rock band with, other than that I'll gather the people from across the country that I occasionally do BQP with to fill in.
Then we'll start booking gigs at local dive bars and keep rocking out until we're rich and famous!!!!
New Thread. I'm basically replying to I can get the blue dot to keep track of this thread. I just sent in my busted 360 to their repair center today, so I'm hoping to get it back by the end of August, first week of September, which would be just in time for Rock Band 2's release date. At least it better show up before Rock Band 2 comes out. I ordered the Ion Drumkit and I'd be really, really pissed if I got it and didn't have my 360 to try it out on right away.
Also, I'm not sure if it was noted, but the Drum Rocker site now will also allow you to preorder the cymbal expansion, a second bass pedal, and/or a drum throne, as well as the Ion drumkit.
