Oh I can do that too and still be generally accurate. UK politics is stuffed full of class divide, north-south rivalry and apathetic voters (with subsequent low turnout), and to some extent the segregation of the nationalities. It has no direction and people generally don't care. As such, nothing much ever really happens and red tape clutters many processes. I'm not being jingoistic. Criticising the US is the vogue and easy to do, but I do actually have reasons behind what I say. And the truth is that the most of the rest of the world is pretty astonished that McCain is even in with a shot. Especially after things like this and this which put the boot in to his 'experience and ability' angle. I personally think McCain is a well-meaning person, but I think he pales in comparison to Obama. Kerry/Bush was a bit of a global shock as well (yes, not scientific or conclusive, but I assure you it reflects the attitude of most europeans I know). As for other things, well...
