By the way, they're updating the RB1 tracks on the music trivia page of RockBand.com

Here's the band logo for Moustache The Crustacean, my old band. Unfortunately, I made it on my friends box so I can't access it.

Oh well, Moustache the Crustacean was the randomly-generated band name it gave me for RB1. So out with the old and in with the new and all that.

In the first game, our random band name was "The Donkey Kohlers."

In this one, it's "Parallel Jerks."

I like both of them

So, apparently, Get Clean is about the holocaust.

I didn't know that.

I like Afterlife, but maybe that's just me.

I like it as well.

Critical Acclaim, not so much.
oh yeah the song about defending president bush from whiny liberals who never do anything :|
No, I have no problem with the lyrical content, I just don't like the drum chart or vocals on the song.

I still think it's a good song on guitar, just isn't one I boot up on other instruments.

I actually wish anything from their Waking the Fallen album would come out on Rock Band. That's the cd that made me really like them. Everything else from them has been meh, supposedly because the lead singer could no longer sing some of the the higher notes.

And what's the verdict on the offspring tracks?

I will not lie, I would pay a ridiculous amount for a three pack with Unholy Confessions, Beast and the Harlot and Scream.

Well, the phone call did nothing. I wasn't really in a consumer activism mood tonight so I may try calling back tomorrow.

The customer service rep suggested this. Is that even worth my time? I'd consider it worth buying if the pedal is as good or better than the original one (which the rep told me it was, but I tend not to trust the opinions of people who are trying to get me to shut up).

Of course, I could also try to fix it myself. It's not entirely split yet, just cracking, so I figure creative use of superglue/duct tape might be able to hold it together for awhile longer. I was considering putting some kind of wood putty or something into the empty cross-pattern spaces in the plastic to give it a little more firmness and support.

So... Apparently if you're going to change outfits for different pictures, don't change them back until the pics are in your profile to be safe.

Anyway, so has anyone done any... character progressions? Like how Judy Nails went from GH1 to GH2, or Axel or Johnny.
As soon as I get pics I'll post my main guitarist in her RB1, RB2, and RB(80s) garb.

Yep. Found that out a couple of days ago, although I had already assumed that. It's on the RB site too.

The new Eagles of Death Metal album comes out on the 28th. I expect DLC on that day Harmonix!

I'm thinking about preordering the album for an autographed digipack. I don't even know what a digipack is. Sounds like it's worth it though.

I hopped on Score Duel to see how the environment was and I get matched up with Mr. PlaysSoloAllDayLong with a TrueSkill rating of 39 who beats me twice, both times because it was DLC I haven't really done much recently (Inside the Fire and Under the Bridge).

On one hand I was kind of bitter at losing (had I not fumbled up, I probably would have beat him once) but on the other hand I was glad that I don't get many chances to play solo.

Anyway, I'm fixing my phone for a bit. I'm free for a couple of hours if anyone needs a singer, just throw me an invite.

My first and so far only non-tour online experience went as such:
Tug o War, guitar.
I pick a random song and it's Dinosuar Jr. I don't know it so I go hard. Other guy goes expert. I beat him but not by much (kinda expected due to lower difficulty but I had NEVER played the song before). Achievement unlocked.

Deciding weather or not to leave while on top or do a best outta three set, guy picks random and we get "Let There Be Rock" and seeing as how I know this, we both go on expert. We stumble through the first solo but I pick it up a bit during the chord sections and get a streak going. Before the second solo, the guy quits.

Heh, Yeah it's probably not the best sign sign when you generally play later on the east coast than the people who play on the west coast...
