I keep wanting to call my blood specced DK a Blood Knight.

Basically, I wish Blizzard would have done what Munkus just said. Yeah, but could you imagine how many people would say that Race X's Paladin is OP compared to Race Y's Paladin? Man. Spoiler: show spoiler hide spoiler I've been thinking about class design using the four elements over the past few days. I think it'd be neat to allow a greater freedom of player customization by having four base classes: Fighter, Soldier, Mage and Cleric and then the four Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air. Earth magic is melee defensive, Air is melee offensive, Fire is ranged offensive and Water is ranged defensive. It could work something like an Earth Soldier is the equivalent of a tanking warrior, a Water Cleric is a holy priest, that sort of thing. Both you and I know that those people are retarded, so it doesn't really matter.

The different ascetics would be cool and all, but that's a bunch of extra effort for no real difference. I'd frankly much rather them allocate resources to something more important than calling paladins blood knights. Ahem, the word you're looking for is aesthetics. I would certainly hope we've got no religious prudes being involved here.

Hey, Forar, are you going to level a Death Knight to stay with having one of each class at the cap?

Well, I think they could have taken a page from WAR's book and have three or four sets for each of the aesthetic classes to use.

I've got a Blood Elf rogue that's level 10 who will probably die tomorrow to make space for the Death Knight. As for capping them all out... eh, we'll see. If anything, I'll probably push to 80 with the Rogue, then take my druid along with some other alts through rested, because I enjoy druidry, and being a tank is always a popular choice. If anything, I imagine the rest will get up there based on how much I enjoy having a life outside of WoW. So far it's pretty appealing. This orb of fire that orbits the world scares me, as does the enroaching darkness and chill that has swept the land I live in, but I assume that's the Lich King's influence. I also hear there's something called "women" out there too, but it's a wild and foreboding land. I'm just a poor rogue trying to make it in a Ret Paladin's world.

Oh... snap? Not following you, Munkus. I've never gotten into an argument with a ladyfriend with my buddies giving me backup. At best, they'll pipe in when they're nearby. The ladyfriends will bring their ladyfriends with them to start an argument. I'm usually the one dropping the money on gifts and dinner. I might be apt at winning debates, but the ladyfriends have learned strats on how to avoid logic. And really, when you get right down to it, most guys are a simple spank+tank anyway :O

Players don't get abilities that can completely shut down the defenses of a boss.
