I'm kind of convinced the Apothecary is overpowered now. The healing is strong by itself but with unit experience it becomes even more important to keep them alive. He can also beat most other heroes 1v1 just by healing himself continuously, at least early game before anyone has upgrades which is the only time you'd see a 1v1 really anyway.
This might just be because the meta game right now puts a lot of focus on the early infantry game, especially 1v1 you don't even see any vehicles half the time, and this is when the Apothecary is strongest.
I killed one in five seconds. I am not overexaggerating at all.
In other news, warp spiders make things explode. Spoiler:
Corianan Melee Basic Attack: +23 versus AC, 1d12+18 damage. +2 additional if Raging, +4 if target is Bloodied, +6 if a Thunder power was used last turn.

I think the Apothecary would become the support hero it's supposed to be if it's heal ability didn't work on itself. It would make him a backline support hero rather than a forward assault hero, but that's what he's supposed to be, right? Maybe increase the range of it a bit to compensate.

If they do that they should switch his top weapon upgrade to something with a bit more DAKKA DAKKA
Pac Man's character is difficult to explain even to the Japanese -- he is an innocent character. He hasn't been educated to discern between good and evil. He acts more like a small child than a grown-up person. Think of him as a child learning in the course of his daily activities. If someone tells him guns are evil, he would be the type to rush out and eat guns. But he would most probably eat any gun, even the pistols of policemen who need them.
Can someone link me to those Angry Marine models? The commissar, the librarian and the chapter leader. I can't find em (not the art, the actual painted models)
Every time I try to 3v3 it ends with somebody disconnecting or crashing or what have you, but 1v1 has never had the slighest problem. What's up with that?

With 3v3 you have 4 more armies for clients and servers to keep track of. Bad things can happen really quickly that may not happen in 1v1.
... when we came back and won dispite losing at first with 4-426...
oh, did I mentioned? We came back and won with 4 points remaining when the other side had 426!!
Not as good as when Puck and Astns had a 1v1 and Astns held on at 0 VPs (yes that's 0 remaining, you have to go into negative figures to lose proper) for like 5 minutes.

yeah, I noticed that today on this very match, as I held my breath in disbelief before screaming at the top of my lungs (not on vent, of course)

I was thinking that about the heal not working on himself, half the time I hold him back anyway but it is really handy having another melee unit especially early game to tie stuff up. If you just kept everything as-is but made it not work on him he'd probably end up being underpowered instead, but if you increased range and/or healing strength and gave him a bolter, changed his "stance" to ranged it might work. He'd be a lot less interesting and accurate to the lore though.
