Seeing the opening to this week's episode, my immediate reaction was to scream out "What the FUCK - NO - WHAT are they DOING!?!?" this scaring the shit out of my roommate's studying girlfriend. She is the only one at the house not accustomed to me yelling at the TV Wednesday nights. I was really hoping for another sweet ass Spoiler: show spoiler hide spoiler plane crash but the flash kinda makes more sense.

So it seems like Locke will be taking the place of Christian. I wonder if Jacob is just able to take use any dead person or if it is only someone he deems worthy? What significance do dead people have? That leads me to thinking about Yemi. Was his appearance used my the smoke monster to manipulate and judge? Is Jacob controlling the smoke monster? Are they two halves of something? Christian seems to be benevolent and Yemi seemed vindictive to me. LOST and its damn mysteries fucking with my head.

I guess this episode was alright, but it was really the low point in the season for me. Everything else so far has been batshit insane, but this whole episode just felt like exposition. And I get that they wanted to put the O6 back on the island quickly and introduce a whole bunch of flashback material at the same time. Didn't stop me from being bored with it. I guess what I'm sayin is, we need to hurry up and get back to Daniel, Sawyer and Jin right fucking now.

I really liked this episode, and actually it was a nice change of pace to slow things down a bit. It was a little easier to digest. The only thing I would have changed would be to make it less Jack/more Faraday, but that is true with every episode, even Faraday-centric ones.

when Jack was talking to Faraday's mom, he was getting into that "DON'T FUCK MY WIFE, DAD" mode
