if someone could compile all the lost points for me I will make lostpoints.com
I am being serious about this. LD, do you have all the points saved to files by chance or am I going to have to brute force this?
Edit: the address is actually www.lostpoints.org since the .com address is taken but not in use.
Okay I managed to compile up to and including 3.07. I'll put them all up later tonight. If anybody has the points from the start of season 3 that would be great.
Somebody was just saying they'd compiled them all, earlier in the thread.
This is all I have saved on the internets: http://lorddave.com/lostpoints.html
I'm not with the computer that has most of them
It's going to be interesting to see what the logic of Locke having to wear Christian's shoes is going to be. That felt way more like sympathetic magic than science. They didn't come anywhere near matching the circumstances of the original crash but a pair of shoes is what put it over the top? Was it just a hazing ritual for Jack?

Locke is crossing the boundaries of death to be a dick to Jack.
edit: disregard that I forgot Locke had nothing to do with this.
Seeing the opening to this week's episode, my immediate reaction was to scream out "What the FUCK - NO - WHAT are they DOING!?!?" this scaring the shit out of my roommate's studying girlfriend. She is the only one at the house not accustomed to me yelling at the TV Wednesday nights.
I was really hoping for another sweet ass Spoiler:
i think that they used the same cut of Sayid when both Jack and Ben walked onto the plane
or at least he had the exact same reaction
which is even funnier
A person who was good at movie editing should do a clip of him doing that every time something happens. Splice in some clips from other movies where they are on planes too
Jack walks by *reaction*
Ben walks by *reaction*
"Sir, can I get you something to drink?" *reaction
So it seems like Locke will be taking the place of Christian. I wonder if Jacob is just able to take use any dead person or if it is only someone he deems worthy? What significance do dead people have? That leads me to thinking about Yemi. Was his appearance used my the smoke monster to manipulate and judge? Is Jacob controlling the smoke monster? Are they two halves of something? Christian seems to be benevolent and Yemi seemed vindictive to me.
I guess this episode was alright, but it was really the low point in the season for me. Everything else so far has been batshit insane, but this whole episode just felt like exposition.
And I get that they wanted to put the O6 back on the island quickly and introduce a whole bunch of flashback material at the same time. Didn't stop me from being bored with it.
I guess what I'm sayin is, we need to hurry up and get back to Daniel, Sawyer and Jin right fucking now.
I really liked this episode, and actually it was a nice change of pace to slow things down a bit. It was a little easier to digest. The only thing I would have changed would be to make it less Jack/more Faraday, but that is true with every episode, even Faraday-centric ones.
Ben's phone call to Jack. I was like, "Oh, what has Mr. Linus gotten himself into this time-- Shit that's a lot of blood! Dear god, what has he done!?!"
