Syncing Files Between Folders?

So I have a folder on my Linux desktop that is chock full of music and video. I share that drive to my Win7 halftop as a network drive, and it works like a charm.

However, I would like to have a system that automatically moves the music files from the network drive to the local music drive on the halftop so that I have two copies of everything, thus avoiding another few days of having to rip cds if I delete the media drive on my linux box AGAIN.

I've tried Windows Sync, but it doesn't work on Linux and won't read the network drive. I installed SyncBack last night, and it kind of works, but the scheduling tool is crap. I set up the schedule and as far as I can tell it's only done one syncing as scheduled.

Does anyone know of a free program that will read both directories and reliably make sure that they are the same? Keep in mind that I want a local solution and not something that's based on a website.

Thanks!

Garry: I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time I'd rather not spend the rest of the winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!

    Rsync and Robocopy, I guess.

I'm not familiar enough with the switches of either to quote them from memory, but you can Google them.
