My friend and I have figured that the best panels to go to are the ones that will be funny, and/or fun. I didn't go to a ton of them, but my favorites were...
Pitch Your Video Game Idea (could not stop laughing)
ChatterBox TreaasureBox Trivia (good host, but one contestant shouldn't have been on stage)
The Brodeo Reunion "LIVE" (could not stop laughing)
Dude seriously, second PA panel with the picture, RvB panel.
Please enforcers do not let that stalker girl EVER get back in line. EVER. I'm tired of 20 minutes of "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM I FOLLOW YOU EVERYWHERE BECAUSE I HAVE NO LIFE" in the main panels I went to.
I believe so. I doubt anyone at RvB wants to get fucked like a real man. If I had burnie sitting next to me all week long, I would've tapped that a long time ago. Tap burnie I mean.
Scott Kurtz, the DM panel, The Aesthetics of Game Control, Beyond D&D and Wil Wheaton were all awesome presentations. I really enjoyed each of them for various geektastic reasons.
Haha, the 1UP Yours Live panel on Fri Night, cuz my buddy TimT got owned by Shane, Jon, and Garnett...
The RVB Panel, cuz there's nothing funnier than 5 grown men spelling out B O N E R.
But, my absolute fave was the PA Q&A on Sunday... Even if it werent my doing, the part where Mike was sniffing, rubbing, and all but making love to my business card, was the funniest experience of the weekend.
I loved every panel where Mike and Jerry were there. Seems like there was a ton of other great things I couldn't find time for. I really hope that they start to stream/archive the panels so I don't have to choose between seeing an amazing panel or seeing an awesome panel.
The PA Panels never fail to entertain but if I had to choose, I'd say that Scott Kurtz owned the room at his panel - I didn't think it would be so damned funny from beginning to end. And Wil Wheaton definitely was AWESOME

"Money can't buy you love, but it can get you some really good chocolate ginger biscuits."
It seems like the Hey Ash, Watcha Filmin panel was really popular. It was my favorite...but it might have been because it was the only one I went to. At about 5 on Friday my friend came who really didn't want to go to anything but the main panels. And they were good for sure (god I want to smell that guy) but they didn't hold the same special warm fuzzy feeling you get from the other panels.
After the HAWP panel my friend got Ash to sign a bottle of fiber...the Burch siblings actually laughed at that request...so that was cool.
Next year I don't think I will buy a ticket for the less than enthusiastic friend...I feel like he spent most of his time outside smoking or getting something to drink.
Out of all of the panels I attended I would say the best was the first PA Q&A, but my favorite was the HAWP panel.
Mostly because everybody there was awesome and anybody who wasn't there is FUCKING NOBODY! according to Anthony Burch
I hope somebody taped a few parts of that panel...it was awesome.
I only went to two panels, not counting the main events. Between "designing for failure: why winning sucks" and the Overclocked Remix panel, the Overclocked remix panel is a clear winner.
Oh yes I remember you reflection. you couldn't help to love how the guy got accepted after only saying..."You start by growing a small moustache."
Top three fave panels
1. Fangamer Stigmata (earthbound fans unite!)
2.Pitch a Game
3. And I couldn't help to like the make a strip panel though I thought some of the questions were stupid.
Sex, Murder, and Drugs panel gave me more confidence in my people and the medium. It also let me know that the right way to play Farcry 2 was with permadeath.
GOD! What was that chick's name! Its been on my mind since I left.
my favorite panel was the LRR one mostly for 2 things.
1) The button challenge that people had to accept before they were told what it was. It turned out to be that they had to give him two but in return for winning they got one from him.
2) How they were all taking about how Halo 3:ODST looked good and someone said that bungie wanted to give them recon for the Superintendent sorrow video but didn't have their gamertags. THEN, i asked them what was something they weren't really excited about and Paul said that he wasn't really excited for ODST.(looks like someone won't be getting recon now)
it was one of the funnier panels.
Another one i really enjoyed was the one with Adam Sessler and Hal Halpin. That one was really interesting. Also, Adam showed up up a few minutes early and decided to show us something he likes doing, Rubbing his nose one the mics that have the fuzzy stuff on them.
I was only able to make it to two panels (kinda lame i know) and they were the Weapons 101 which we left half way through and the Assassins Creed II/Splinter Cell panel. I wanted to attend so much more
Jonathan Coulton sang Future Soon to us.
Harmonix guys facinated us with their Reaper and Magma wizardy while making us lol.
Jonathan Coulton performed Future Soon in Rock Band with 3 members of the audience.
Every US attendee with a PC, 360, and an Internet connection could sign up for the Rock Band Network Beta!
Wil Wheaton's Awesome Hour was AWESOME. Even more awesome than you remember or can imagine. For reals.
And I had a great time both during and after The Loading Ready Run panel, even though I hadn't seen any of Unskippable. =D I was able to organize the entire crew into a group photo AND sign my Twitter Shitter shirt. Graham signed my boob after prompting from Kathleen. Awesome.
My first ever Make a Strip panel was pretty fun, and made me sorry I'd missed Scott Kurtz's panel.
Based on what people have said here, there were several panels I wouldn't have considered that turned out great, so my only recommendation is to work on the names/descriptions.

Because that girl looked 17 and creeped the daylights out of me.

Hands down my fave panel.
Followed by The Legend Of Neil screening. Sandeep and Tony.
Fantastic panel. Calling their dad in the middle of the panel was just precious.

Nothing during the whole weekend made me laugh as hard as Gabe smelling that business card while Tycho tried to answer questions.

Ah, oddly enough I saw a bunch of videos of that panel, a bunch of hilarious ideas.
I also think I might have played Munchkin with you before the make a strip panel.
Oh man, that was you?
I'd love to make that into a flash game at some point.
