    I enjoyed this comic and found it to be a suitable substitute while Gabe is sick and unable to draw.

    So I hear that the WHO wants people to call it H1N1 instead of swine flu because ignorant peasants the world over are wholesale slaughtering pigs when it's absolutely not going to help the problem. Or whatever. But really, not only is "swine flu" a catchier name than "H1N1 virus," but the former is well-established. Bad marketing!

    Well, it doesn't have the ring of "Black Death" or anything like that. But it's still a catchier name, plus it associates the idea of an animal that wallows in shitmud and is thought to have disease-causing flesh. Plus it's the name of a creature, you know, as opposed to some random letters. It's just better marketing, and trying to correct the name this late is going to be difficult, especially because it's for the benefit of people who are dumb enough to kill their pigs over it.
