Go there, download it and get fucking whooped by 12 year-olds!
Seriously, this is the best done online Yugioh ever. You can make your own character and walk around a city full of players. The city is basically a big chatroom seeing how there's no buildings you can go in and there's nothing to do in it (at least nothing I know of). The game is not perfect because it doesn't explain to you how to start a game or play one, but once you find out , much fun will be had (if you like screaming at the PC like you're Yugioh). There is some lag, but not enough you annoy the shit out of you. Some cards area bit confusing on how to use them correctly, but once you learn it becomes less frustrating. There is no tutorial, so if you don't know how to play Yugioh you'll be stuck still not knowing. You can google the rule book, but it's a bit confusing (ever I don't know the rule 100%).
I beat someone an hour ago in one turn... it was gloriously planned out and funny as shit. I don't know how easy it easy to play friends, but I guess we could find out.
A lot of the stupidly overpowered cards are taken out of the game such as Black Hole and Raigeki (I don't how to spell it). It starts you out with some damn good cards which is good because the majority of cards you get for winning/losing duels suck ass. It also starts you out with three standard decks built around a philosophy such as Equip Deck, a deck built around equiping monsters and making them stronger.
Well then...
IT's time to DU DUDUDUD UDUDUDUD DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEL!!!
If more people join in, I will as well. I played Yugioh competitivley for 2 years, and fucking raped everything without resorting to cookie cutter bullshit. I eventually decided TCGs weren't worth my time or money, but I still know the game extremely well.
You know, I wouldnt mind playing this as a time waster. I've never played the YuGiOh TCG though. I assumed that it plays like a simplified version of Magic like the Pokemon TCG, but I remember asking the owner of my local comic/card shop about that and he said "No way, YuiGiOh is much more complicated than the Pokemon TCG." Is this true? If its really that complex to figure out Im not sure if I want to play it. I have played Pokemon (a lot, up to the end of Neo or so) and Magic (a little) though.
TCG? I don't know much about the game. I just liked the first couple episodes of the cartoon and built a deck I never got to even use. I didn't even mind cause as soon as I completed it, I stop caring cause I could just play on the GBA.
Yu Gi Oh is actually easier to learn than the pokemon TCG. Which reminds me...I still have my normal/lightning pokemon custom paralisis deck around here. It had cards from all the original boosters. It beats the crap out of any Gold and Silver or Runy/saphire deck

TCG = Trading Card Game.
And I might have my old pokemon grass/psychic deck somewhere. I wish I found a second movie Mewtwo, because those kicked ass. Just having one in my deck saved me plenty of times.
yu-gi-oh is much easier to figure out than Pokemon. I was 10 when trying to learn both. I learned Yu-gi-oh. Pokemon was much to complicated.
Will DL later.

Pokemon started off simple, but they kept adding more and more stuff like Stadiums, baby pokemon and Metal/Dark Energy. Really, it was still a good game without all that.
I hope they don't use that stupid duelpass system of charging like the original YGO Online when it comes out of beta. Ideally, I wouldn't approve of monthly charges at all, but Konami sure likes their money.
Paying for each single duel you play just seems so wrong though.
Is this anything like MTGO? How do you go about making decks and getting cards?
you're given an assload of cards to work off of. The normal monsters stink, but the effect monsters can do some cool shit. You get some damn cool trap and magic cards.

Rofl, it's really easy and simple.
;3
The normal rule is simple as hell. But once you start chaining trap/magic/effect the rule get complicated. Just go upperdeck.com and see all the side note for "advance rule".
But that only apply to reallife, in game they arrange all the chain for you, so you don't have to argue with your friend everytime a multichain happen.

I play Blazblue, Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter 4 and soon Tekken 6... yeah... so add me if you want to play any of those.
Finally an opportunity to yell at people who aren't fake characters on a hand held when I pull off some crazy strategy. Is it just me, or does everyone else feel like a total smart ass after gloating about winning. It's even worse with Tea, she sucks so bad it's pitiable...

it's in beta
I doubt you can use your real life deck. IF that was possible I'd rape you with my toon world madness.
And I might have my old pokemon grass/psychic deck somewhere. I wish I found a second movie Mewtwo, because those kicked ass. Just having one in my deck saved me plenty of times.
it's free everywhere man. You download it and you can play against anybody and everyone. I played some dude in Taiwan yesterday.
Will DL later.
As do I.
I still buy cards from time to time.
My The Creator Deck.
But yeah, im intrigued now. I might try this out.
Seems like someone's not up to date on their internet comedy.
Man, I used to be big in Yugioh like 8 years ago. I still have uber rare japanese cards.

Attention duelists! My hair has abducted this small child!
I hear if you pay 25c extra per game you can screw the rules because you have money.
