Okay, so NOW it's giving me a message that says "0/0 Bytes Saved" and nothing's happening.

let it just sit there. I did and it fixed/installed itself

Ah, indeed it does fix itself.

Man, who thought giving you 3 cards max for duels was a good idea? 3 whole boosters would be reasonable, not 3 random cards. I've done a lot of surrendering and still only have a single Cyber Dragon. I can't possibly imagine getting any decent cards at this rate.

Wait, noone told you? Card games aren't about who has the better deck or strategy anymore, it's about who can afford to buy all the staples, or has the time to grind in videogames to get them all.

    Silly.

Error message mentions a texture manager source file. My guess would be you need to update DirectX, your gfx drivers, or both.

I used Swords of Concealing Light, then used the Premature Burial I was saving to revive Drillroid, and took out DMOC in one blow.

I never leave myself open by choice, I always keep my options open and save cards for when they're most useful.

So far I've managed to construct a very powerful Dark World deck, and a barely passable Gravekeeper deck.

It's such a grind to get the cards you need to build on new deck themes though. I'd have to say it's one of the most irritating and disappointing aspect of the game as it stands. If your players are paying per duel, throw them a bone, not a freaking crumb when it ends.

    Fuck that noise.

And what are those shops that I see? In the duel academy, there's guards outside 'em. And the one in Domino is closed.

I guess they open up once the beta is over?

Who knows. I can't find any official information on the full game or it's release features. And yeah, the charging scheme for Yugioh online is buying "Duel pass points" which allow you to have like 20 duels or something per pack. Then you have to buy more if you wanna keep duelling. It's pretty dumb.

I'd recommend getting the new DS game which is coming out soon and features Wi-fi play for online free duelling (or that program YVD, but that eliminates the fun somewhat of actually trying to get that card you need for your deck). Unfortunately, the DS game doesn't feature online card trading. Maybe in the next game.

Ah-ha, and the handheld games use that code inputting thing where you can put in a numerical code on a real life card and you get it in the game.

I can so use my real deck that way.

"NOT SO FAST", says Konami. "We implemented a new 'feature' into our latest yugioh handheld games which make you pay massive points to purchase cards from the password machine!"

"The rarer the card, the more you pay."

So yeah. In the last game I tried, for a really rare card like mirror force, it cost like 10,000DP (duel points), of which you got around 500 per won duel. Booster packs cost from 150DP-700DP. But yeah.....it sucks.

Free Yugi card battle client, and I believe there are still links on that page pointing ot the guys that scan every card and card image they can get their hands on. For thsoe of you that want to get around the tedium of making new decks, they've got thousands of cards you can pull from.

I've never actually played it against someone, but I did download it to make sure it worked. There were a wide array of cards marked by what kind of deck and what revision, so there's like 3 different Dark Magicians from the 3 different sets you could find him in. I'm unsure if they'ce added GX cards. Anyway, you can try this out after the beta expires.

I actually got that just now when i updated. I tried updatng my drivers, but that didn't fix it - however I tried a fresh install and it seemed to work fine after that.

The drivers may have helped, but a fresh instal seems to be the best option.

I'm online right now anyway. If anyone wants to meet up and have a game or two i'm up for it.

I don't know if you're talking about GBA World Champ 2006, but if you're getting 500 DP per duel you're doing it wrong. I consistently get 700-1000 DP per duel with my zombie speed deck, and occasionally for shits and giggles I'll pay a Final Countdown deck that gets 2500-2900 DP per duel.
