So I currently have two headsets. one has the standard black and pink wires which don't fit in to my TV. They don't work very well when I use them with my computer and so I bought a new logitech headset which I use a USB to plug into my computer. I was wondering if its possible to use my USB logitech headset by plugging it into my xbox 360 and making the sound go through my headset. If I can't do this then what kind of headset would I require to be able to use it for my TV? Can't be too expensive, I guess somewhere around 30-40 bucks.

Really depends on what sort of Audio Out format your TV uses. If it's a Stereo Left/Right (the red and white connectors), you can buy a cheap coupler that will use an 1/8" or 1/4" headphone jack and split them into the Red and White connectors (if the headphone jack has two lines on the plug, it's a Stereo jack and will actually split the channels. If it has one line, it's mono and will output to your headphones in mono)
Are you trying to listen to the TV or to the XBox?
I doubt the XBox idea would work unless you're talking only about audio from the XBox itself. I don't think they have an Audio Input feature. If you mean listening to the XBox, they have a jack for the headsets you would use with any of the online games like Call of Duty, so just use whatever device works for that.
Yea my TV has a red/white plug in the back so I guess I need a coupler for my headset. Hope I can find one that supports USB headsets because the other headset blows. Thanks.
Damn, guess that means if I want to use a headset with the TV I'll need to buy a new headset again(won't be doing this for a while) and the coupler. Oh well I don't really need this for a long time anyway, just would be nice now.
