I've been playing this game lately and it seems pretty damned cool, with the system where you can alter the plotline so drastically and how well-done it seems to be, even if it is extremely short.

However, I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong and I just can't find any good information out there. When I try to use my character in VS mode he's suddenly forgotten all the moves he learned during the scenario, and every time I start a new game I keep having to relearn the moves again as well, even if I keep the same sword. It's annoying.

I'm also having difficulty unlocking everything; according to the FAQs you need several thousand points at the endgame to unlock everything, but even when I do really well - avoiding getting hit, etc. - I end up with about 250 points. What exactly am I supposed to be doing differently? I've read all the FAQs I could find and can't get any decent information. Did anybody else play this game that remembers how to beat it properly?

Moves are linked to a specific sword. It's possible you're picking a duplicate sword that has the same name but doesn't have moves linked to it

I also believe points are cumulative, though I haven't played it in a while so I could be wrong. It could also be based around decision making, IE you have to make all the right decisions and get the best possible ending to get the most points

Oops, I thought that Let's Play hadn't actually started yet.

I also keep getting messages like "New Player available in Battle Mode" but then I go to Battle Mode and there's not a new player available there. Maybe my disk is fucked up or something.
