not sure about the abbotsford raid night though. I think I'll probably be able to do it.

You're on the list now.... you are coming! :P

I've updated the OP with a few more event dates, including some preliminary dates for a few events in March. February will be a nightmare in this city for commuting anywhere so I'm not sure if I'll plan anything during the Olympics but if anyone wants to create/plan a new event for Nov/Dec/Jan to fill in this gap feel free to chime in.

EDIT: Also would anyone be interested in grouping up for one of those Gastown Ghost Tours, seeing as 'tis the season and all?

Just a heads up guys. I can get us $5 off the fright night tickets through work no matter how many people we get to go. So for any weekend fright night it is $25 instead of $30. I believe the date we have listed now is the 30th? So sign up people for discounted FRIGHT.

So the showtimes for Zombieland are at 6:45 and 7:40 on Sunday.

Shall we do dinner at 4:30ish and the 6:45 show or at 5:30ish with the 7:40 show?

I prefer the latter, but either way works.

Okay we'll make the times final:

    Dinner: 5:30ish
    Movie: 7:45

We'll plan to head over to the theatre around 6:30-7:00 so we can be sure to get seats together. Bring you DS.

I'll be picking up my ticket on the way to the dinner.

    EDIT: Make that:

    Dinner: 5:30ish
    Movie: 7:40

I had it right four posts ago, not sure what happened here.

I'm gonna buy mine online just cuz I find it easier. I don't *think* it'll be a problem to get it when we get to the theatre, though.

I probably won't be at the theater until about 7:30 because SOMEONE decided to have their 85th birthday tomorrow. Anyways I'll be in van earlier during the day to get my ticket. Could you please save two seats? You guys should sit in the back so you are easy for me to find. :)

Best road trip movie I've seen in years.... it also had Zombies.

Nice seeing everyone again.... even Sumi and Eric who we saw for five whole minutes. :P

We really should do a gaming night sometime next month. Maybe at Jims (or even just at someones place seeing as the forum "regulars" are a pretty small group). If anyone is up for some group gaming let me know and we'll see where we can do it based on the number of interested geeks.

That's why everyone needs to come to abbotsford, I miss you guys!

Also, maybe near Halloween we could do a scary movie/videogames night. I'm hoping Eric's mom will go out of town soon so we can have a party. :P

Ok guyzzzz, I checked it out and you should be able to get your discounted Fright Night tickets at www.pne.ca/groupsales

Simply put in the code 'emenuc23' when prompted. And...hmm, just checked the OP and it says Saturday the 30th. The 30th is a Friday. So, the 31st? What freakin day are we going.

As listed in the Event Calander: Friday the 30th.

Not sure where I cut and pasted the date from in the actual event description. It was wrong, but its fixed now. Always check the calander at the top of the OP, that will always be correct.

The event descriptions are all cut and pasted from other posts about the specific event so they may have typos from time to time if I don't get a chance to proof read or in the case of that event, if I'm dealing with a failing video card at the same time that I'm updating it. :x

I’ve been thinking that we need to do another one of these, mostly because I don’t have a lot of friends that have DS’s

    Vancouver DS meet up!

    Who: you
What: Play DS with a bunch of other local PA fans
Where: Royal Oak IHOP 5137 Kingsway, Burnaby BC (three blocks south of Royal Oak Skytrain)
    When: Oct 24th, 6pm
Why: Mostly because it’s a relatively central location with wheelchair access, bottomless pop and surly wait staff.

I’m bringing Mario kart, tetris, Dokapon Journey, and anything I can find if people request it. Any takers?
