360 games that don't use shoulders, triggers, or sticks?

I just got what is essentially a 360 version of an NES controller. it's part of the Rock Band Portable Drum Kit, which has gotten very cheap lately (20 bucks) but this particular unit, that the pads plug in to is neat in it's own right. It is about the size of an NES controller, and has a d-pad, four face buttons, back, start, and guide.

So I'm wondering if maybe there is a list anywhere of games that might be playable with it. really all it would need to be is a game that doesn't need to use the shoulders, triggers, or sticks at all.

Street Fighter IV (minus some punch/kick attacks).

I think Bionic Co.... nope, triggers are how you select weapons....

Any of the Genesis rereleases should be fine. You can get the Sonic Mega Collection as well.

I already have tons of games. I was just curious if there was a pre-existing list, rather than going and checking every single one myself.

Wow, I can't think of any.

I think you're going to have a hard time with that.

Splosion Man and TMNT: Arcade come to mind. Also, I think the remake of Turtles in Time applies too.

I can personally confirm Raiden Fighters Aces, Raiden IV, Ikaruga, and Mega Man 9. Most arcade shooters should be ok.

Pretty sure the sega collection is good as mentioned earlier.

Sadly Castle Crashers won't work for this, I think TMNT:Reshelled uses both sticks but i'm not sure.

yeah, it's a real shame, because I feel like it would be kind of perfect.

Some fighting games use 4 buttons, like BlazBlue & King of Fighters. You can use the triggers for mulit-button macros, but it's not necessary to play.

just for illustrative purposes, the controller I'm talking about is the piece in the middle here (with no drum heads or pedals plugged in)

Every fighting game. Soul Calibur 4, Dead or Alive 4, Virtua Fighter 5, Street Fighter 4, King of Fighters XII, etc. etc. They all use the d-pad (so you can use an arcade stick with them) and the face buttons.

(sidenote: wow, it's depressing to write sequel numbers next to every game in a genre. What the fuck, game dev people?)

It would also work well for UNO, and both of the Scene It games.

I would give Band of Bugs and Commanders: Attack of the Genos, too. You might miss out on rotating the camera, but I think they would bother work. I would also expect Texas Hold 'Em, Gin Rummy, and the Hardwood games (Hearts, Spades, and Backgammon) to work.

Splosion Man actually needs a stick. Doesn't respond to the D-Pad at all.
