I find cigars are best as a rare pleasure for a special occasion.

It was also fun going to a cigar store and having a leathery old man with a glass of brandy recommend stuff
Its as much about the whole experience as the actual smoking itself.
Plus if you find an old leather chair, you can pretend do be a filthy rich drunken old bastard who complains about everything.
This is what we did, but with a hot tub instead

I know that this is a dick move, but have you been smoking hookah, you know, right? And were you smoking the bowls by yourself? Because otherwise you're smoking about thirty cigarettes in an hour and a half and if that doesn't make you get sick there is something horribly wrong with you.

I'm just saying I've smoked a LOT (and was, at the time, smoking more than fandy is now) so it's weird that he would be capable of smoking thirty cigarettes in an hour and a half when I absolutely was not.
and as for the health effects, look at some of the cited stuff on the wikipedia page, this isn't just a fabrication.

According to wiki the nicotine level is roughly 70% more than cigarettes so if you smoke a pack of cigarettes worth in 40 minutes that's like putting away 30-sum smokes per hour. That's insane. Nobody smokes that much. Hookah or cigs.

I needed cigarettes to stay up and study. Now I only buy some if I have a long car trip I need to stay awake and drive for.
I once watched a couple of Italian tourists pound through about 10 cigarettes each in about just as many minutes. Once minute the cigarette was there, the next it naught but a pile of ash.
I had an English teacher who told stories about visiting Europe. Apparently smoking is ridiculous over there; Guys would be taking puffs during meals at restraunts, in between bites.
