Was just wondering if anyone uses a logitech racing wheel and if they could list some of the settings they found to be best? More specifically I just bought the Driving Force GT for PS3 and Need for Speed:Shift as well as GT5 prologue and I have never used a wheel before when playing racing games, hell I have never even ventured outside Automatic Transmission in previous racing games but I have always wanted a wheel and remembered how much fun I had with racing games when I played them in the arcade. So if any of you have any experience with these wheels and could give me some tips/advice or what settings they use in those particular games to get the most out of the wheel I would really appreciate it.
My main problem is I am not that knowledgable when it comes to the terms(deadzone, speed steering, etc) so I am not even sure where to start so I figured it would be better to try and copy someones settings instead of spending a bunch of time figuring it out on my own. I have only played GT5 and the seemed to be fine(this wheel was made specifically for gt5) but I only played a couple times because I ended up getting NFS the very next day and the main problem I am having in NFS is the backend will swerve left and right on me sometimes when just driving in a straight line. I am playing on Experienced which turns all the assists off except for TCS and ABS and my wheel settings are set to the default the game sets them at and the same goes for GT5.
