DVD Recorder - Lost Cause?

Well, here's the story, we have (had) a Cyberhome DVR 1600 DVD recorder. It just died yesterday, I'm 99% certain due to dead power supply. I bought it in the Spring, but of course now, especially after our recent move, can't find proof of that. To make matters worse, Cyberhome appears to no longer exist on the web, and the only phone # I am finding doesn't work. I bought it at Circuit City if that helps at all.
