So far, this GF Invasion has been going wonderfully.

By wonderfully, I mean fucking hilarious.

The AFK Revelation that slow-boated out of a sieged POS, and got summarily butt-raped by our fleet, was probably one of the highlights.

Well, that and the hostile bombers bombing themselves, our capitals, our probes, and everything else that they could, except something useful.

Anyway, I got camped into a station last night, but I was able to continue on this morning when I woke up. Lesson being, keep an eye on local even in Empire Space, because war targets are out there.

Its not just a normal mining op either, Orca, Rorqual, WYVERN are out there....not reading a cynojammer in system either...

Some times people aren't just "out ta getchya!"

Some times they just see a juicy target, and don't have the ability to take it down, so they forward intel to friends who can.

Man, if only there was a post that had a link to a map showing 0.0 influence in it already in the thread. Like, at the very beginning of the thread. The first fucking post. Oh if only that existed.

You can also try going to eve-online.com's forums, then CAOD (Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions) and read up there, though unless you're an idiot it will hurt your brain if you read for too long.

Freakin' asteroids really are out to get you.

I can't believe ccp hasn't fixed the ridiculous collision box on those things yet. I've nearly lost a couple ships to hostiles before by not realizing how close i'd drifted into the asteroid fields. Hitting warp then wondering why you were not going anywhere was a harsh lesson

That's why I spend hours every night blasting those bastards into oblivion and breaking down their flesh so they can't reproduce. It's a blight on the universe and I'll be damned if I'll just let them spread across the galaxy producing shadows and just...existing there like big old rocks.

But yeah everyone is out to get you. Even when I'm just mining in high sec (Yeah I know, but i'm building up some capital and training skills so i can mine in nullsec)

There is no end of people who flip my can just to try and get me to attack them so their buddies can then gib me. I even had one guy say I could take my ore back after the aggression timer ran out. Of course that would just let him attack me regardless so instead of losing my precious Badger II I aligned myself to station initiated warp and just as it engaged moved the ore into my cargohold.

On top of that there are constant scams to relieve players of their ships/isk from many sources.

And they are really really bad too. To the point it's comical. I'm still a noob really, but these fuckers are retards.

Watched some dumbfuck launch a bomb and then fly into the explosion, killing himself without hurting anyone else. Things like this happened many times in the fight a couple nights ago while our side tore them a new asshole.

Ok, so, the Stainwagon had decided they wanted a foothold on Delves doorstep for the beginning of Dominion. So far, they have attempted taking A2-, which ended in tears for them, and in the last few days spammed 38 towers in TPAR-G attempting to quickly break Sov. This attempt is in the process of ending in tears. There is still much work to be done by our intrepid Goons, but when you have enemies that AFK in their dreadnought class capital ship and drift out of the shields of a PoS surrounded ravening hounds, well, maybe they are worse than Goons at this game.

Also, lets have a look at what happens when Stealth Bombers are placed in the hands of competent pilots and given direction by a competent FC: http://killboard.goonfleet.com/battles/1552

I saw one lob a bomb at a frigate (forget the type) that was sitting AFK outside of a POS. He had to come back and shoot it with regular missiles TWICE to actually kill it. I'm guessing the reason he was leaving to begin with was POS guns or something.
