how much cooler would WH space be with the goons farming it in preparation for their return to glory? You'd be "off the map." Basically the Vagyr from Homeworld 2. Or the kushan from Homeworld 1, but goons are evil so the first comparison is probably more apt.

Pass this on to your superiors, buttlords
There wouldn't be a reliable way to stay near each other, nor to resupply. Everyone would have to fly Amarrian so they wouldn't need ammo.
A lot of goons still have jump clones in those stations, so for small shit like BPOs it's very possible to get assets out in a few weeks when things calm down

and its also quite reportedly easy to get spies into IT, so even big shit can probably be gotten out
god damn this just gets better and better. i would have been dissapointed if it had gone down any other way. the only thing goons have to fear are goons themselves
It would have been funnier if it was Merchi's fault.

I'm sure we could find some way to blame it on dbrb.

It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing... And take away its pain.

fucking dbrb lost us a carrier kill or so i hear
on an unrelated note, would it be considered acceptable to advertise that i'm selling a 60 day GTC on the Merchi forums? i'd rather sell to a Merchi member than just a random pubbie, for a small discount of course, just for the simple fact of making the sale simpler for me as well as knowing that i'm at least helping out a corp mate.

Confirming that we are now denying maverick navy docking rights to NoL or any other relevant station...
But you'll give docking rights to ANZAC?

Ahaha, I love the crazy Russian alliances. Here's a quote from Blaster Worm:
Subculture of Goonswarm is ideally displays environment organized in a flock of evil. Vice, erected in cult. And the fact that this vice has been defeated. And defeated with enormous effort on the road to which was the despair and frustration and defeat. This, for me, at least, signal that the world is not as bad as it seems.
And those who say that the victory was the result of chance, I will answer only one - of these "accidents" and consists history. And the course of history does not send events, but people who are hungry for victory, people with iron will.
tl;dr, Goons are evil personified. The People will be victorious over evil.
I love fleet battles. I loaded up my old mining cruiser to make it a heavy tackler, and threw myself into battle. Apparently I got primaried, judging by the kill mail. I did manage to tackle an Apoc which died afterwards (my pod is on his KM with a disruptor), so totally worth it.
I have been considering to give EVE a try. I see there is a 14-day trial. In your opinion can one form a good impression of EVE online in 14 days?
You will be able to get a very, very rough idea of the real basics in 14-days....maybe. EVE isn't a game you can really "pick up and go" with like WoW, EQ2 etc etc - it's quite complex, but the tutorial is a lot better than when I first started.
I'd certainly give the 14-day trial a go though - for me I was overwhelmed at the complexity of it all, which is what made me come back to it.
Make sure to have a chat in your Corp chat window as well (you are put into an NPC corp by default) as I have found the EVE community, whilst very unforgiving in combat scenarios, are very helpful when asked genuine questions.
Worst case you get overwhelmed or don't enjoy it, best a lot of clicks and you have a lot of fun. Either way the trial is free so it's not like you'll be out of pocket.
I would wait to do a free trial until MerchI is accepting applications again. Depending on what you're looking for in EVE, it can be a very boring game to play without a good corp. Also, someone in this thread can probably hook you up with a 21 day free trial.

That would be nice.
Maybe a stupid question, but is the MerchI the PA EVE-Online corp? The last time I read this thread every applicant were called a spy and were questioned extensively. I doubt that my application would fare well since I'm not really a frequent poster and might be considered a spy . Although I would be the world worst spy since I don't even have a clue how to play EVE.
But thanks for the advice none the less

That's exactly what a SPY would say, you SPYING SPY.

chair to Creation and then suplex the Void.
So to prove I'm not a spy I need to say loudly "I'M A SPY YOU ALL SHOULD ACCEPT ME AS A MEMBER AND GIVE ME ALL YOUR SECRETS!!111!!!"
In your logic I can't be a spy then
You are incorrect.
Damn.
Even if by some miracle I do get accepted I doubt I can contribute much. I think MerchI only want very active members and I think I will be a more casual gamer.

You'd be surprised, MechI tends to except a wide ranged of play styles, it's far from a hardcore only environment, it's a PA corp for PA members.
Ofc they've jumped in bed with SA so ultimately they must be destroyed!!
Drop them a line you've got nothing to lose.

I wouldn't trust them to do it right

Well DW2 had it's up and down's, I still love the WH 40k universe, so hoping they do a HW inspired BFG game...it'll never happen, but I can sill hope
All the carrier ramming in MP, or the hardcore salvager jewing in campaing.
grate game.
miss it
PS: goons, post mittens newest post, ive hear its good read.
I liked this line:
Tbh the only hope we have a taking any space is to suck NC's dick hard, so you better get used to that.
This quote is mis-attributed. The Mittani did not say this, it was some other random Goon.
EvE Devs best bribing devs?
Well, CCP has been buying a lot of advertising recently.
Yeah they're gone.
It would have been funnier if it was Merchi's fault.

I'll probably buy it if it's for a decent price.

I'm glad I got my alts into other corps then.
Time to start over again, I guess.
That's what they said.
I renewed my old trial account, instead of my main account.
Best $30 ever spent!

Pretty accurate if you ask me. :rotate:
